  • Good news on the job trial - I assume it's waitressing or bar work given the hours?
    I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T
  • Thank you - your right :) - it is bar work - its just on Saturday nights going for a look round on Fri but meant to put Sat in last post did not notice. Its just for a few hours, not too late, and about 3 mins walk from home :) I've done bar work before but so hopefully I will be okay but was a couple of years ago. Would keep me out the pub :rotfl:

  • Hmm so ok yesterday was generally a write off in terms of getting anything done whoops, hopefully today will be more productive (that's all I am saying :p).

Yesterday was a no spend day though which is good. I had a look at book selling sites but seemed most would probably cost me more money to do.

Had pasta for lunch was running out of 'butter' so had salad cream instead :D

    Had shower with freebies

Went to bed again in afternoon  I need a good arguement :p we both slept for ages as well :rotfl:

Had tea watched Sheldon :D - Tea was chips with miced beef & last of cheese - OH keeps coming home from work with tins of mince beef from A*da near work - he bought own brand ones this time - which had a far higher beef content! and were slightly bigger. There's some left so I will have that for lunch maybe with roasts.

Seems like not much food in house but have got some kind of meatballs in veg and sauce out of freezer as it needs defrosting before cooking and plan to have with mash & 'grown up' beans - have not tried em yet though... (5 Heinz).

Have replied to an e-mail regarding a job where they had just told me decision making process has been further delayed.

Checked onepoll & ipsos. Got SB vids on & have done poll & NOSO.

Put slicethepie on to see if there any new tracks available for me & there are so will get on with that shortly.

Might have to venture out today - whether has been awful but it seems dry for now. OH has put towel rail on but the heating is staying off (we have storage heaters).

Will need milk (drinking even more tea all of a sudden), 'butter' and may get some cheese if on offer.

OH has mentioned a cheaper landline deal so is going to look into that.

Have had a very healthy breakfast of a cup of tea and an areo biscuit bar :p

Oh I watched Martin last night as well - of course us lot knew those things already :p - although I had another look into split ticketing & I could do it when I am at work at 10.30 which I often am.

Ok, that's my ramblings done for now :D

  • Went on slicethepie for as long as it would let me which was even less this morning.

After recieving clothes bag and starting to fill it today I am wondering from reading 1% thread whether I should try ebay instead.

Got a quote for old mobile on Asda.

    Got SBTV on.

Checked onepoll & kept getting screend out.

Have ironed clothes for work tomorrow - could have gone in today if had read e-mails last night!

Got BB samples in post to try :) Also going to try the herbsalt sample I got today

  • Hi :D

Went shopping yesterday and spent about £56 :( thinking of leaving the OH at home next time ;) - though to be fair that is a big improvement (looking at spends over the whole month as well) and we will use everything and includes things like toilet roll etc.

    Today -

    :) Worked
    :) Free drink
:) Had an e-mail to say had sold a textbook that has been on Am for ages - and posted that using stuff in house & free newspaper - postage was less than expected too
:) Claimed $10 from slicethepie - quick due to fashion reviews which seem to have gone now :(
    :) Onepoll & Valued Opinions
    :) Ipsos - & withdrew Am voucher :D
    :) Sheldon
    :) SB
:) Tea will be pasta & garlic bread - as OH left that and little else in the fridge (rather than freezer) so I am considering that to be his meal planning :p (he even reminded me to put rest of garlic bread in freezer after so it doesn't get wasted!
:) OH has gone to the pub - I have chosen not to go tonight :A;)

  • :) Actually ate pizza (with beans & chips) even though OH mentioned the C word (not Ch******* the foodie one :D) and I'm usually the one who caves in there!

:) OH was talking of breakfast suggested we could get bacon for omelette or sausage sarnie from butchers - instead we had warmed up egg & bacon sandwich filler from fridge on cobs (£1 at Mr A - I know but better than alternative)

:) Recieved Asda tech trade in and wrapped with stuff from in home - selling old mobile

:) Had e-mail to say my other textbook has sold on Amazon :D

    :) Trial tonight

:) SB - hoping to get enough for another voucher this weekend

    - OH has gone pub for football & will watch match tonight so may stay there in between -

:) Have phoned Orange as my bill credits do not seem to have been applied to my account they say they have can't get on the website until after tomorrow though now!

Have also put a reminder in my phone for when I can reduce the tariff - was going to put it on ipad too but have already done it.
