(My bold). Does anyone else think two inspections in a seven day period is very unreasonable?
As is changing the appointment from a viewing to an inspection.
I would not let these clowns in unless my solicitor was present.0 -

I believe it is unreasonable too Robin, but after reading what Ben said, I believe Marlie is making her position even stronger by allowing an "inspection". She is already legally in the right AND on top of that if getting the moral high ground by being more than reasonable.
I just hope it doesn't turn nasty. I would definitely film/record or at least have a witness there.
We're all rooting for you Marlie!!!!!0 -

If they DO come with a buyer I will be ringing back the council guy and telling him how theyve played him for a fool and made me look like an idiot...0 -
Just wanted to offer my support to you marliepanda. Have no knowledge personally in this area although it's surprising how much you can learn from these boards.
Is your friend from last night still coming for lunch? I think that this 'inspection' will be a viewing to potential buyers and the name has just been changed to avoid getting into trouble. They've probably told the potential buyer that you're a fruitcake or whatnot.
I hate injustice and bullying. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

How disappointing. So they're coming at 2pm and you've agreed to let them in after all, just maybe not without a buyer? What a massive waste of time for everyone here, the police, the council guy, you, the LA, shelter, CAB..............................
The only person to have done alright is Des. He can have the afternoon off.0 -

Nope. They'll have made themselves look like an idiot, especially if you look at the viewer and say 'Are you new at the agency? I haven't seen you for inspections before.'0 -
Bit harsh Danny boy,
The OP's plight isn't just for our viewing / reading pleasure. I too was looking forward to reports of a nice confrontation but the OPs decission is hers and should be respected.0
