I am so sorry you are feeling so low. I know what depression feels like. You've taken a brave step in opening up here and also going to the GP. I really hope they can offer you some extra support. It's okay to need help, you've nothing to feel ashamed of I promise you. Just hang in there. It might feel excruciating right now but it can and WILL get better. Sending much love and a big virtual hug your way xxxx0

checking in - milly if you feel embarassed by your post, there is no need hun. Lots of us have felt that way and some of us have posted on here and got support. I hope that your silence means that you HAVE seen your GP and feel you are getting sorted.
Be nice to know this for sure though! if you still havent made the appointment, dont worry, it may not be the right time or you may not be in the right frame of mind or scared. we CAN help you if you post back.0 -
Aww Milly, your posts made me well up! I really hope you managed to get to the docs today even just to make an appointment. If you can see yourself making progress that'll help your mood. I echo others' suggestions of writing things down and getting the bad or negative thoughts out your head. Then set the paper alight. You'll sleep better too and you'll then start to think more clearly. I was very depressed about 3 years ago to the point where I was planning my suicide. I wrote my thoughts down and I've never read them since. As far as I'm concerned, they're thoughts from the past and they can stay there. If I read them again, it'll just bring those feelings flooding back.
Don't be ashamed of feeling like this. As you've seen from this thread alone, there are so many of us who have gone thru and are still going thru similar situations. And we're stronger for it. I can see why you'd be scared of phoning a complete stranger and opening your heart but you've done the same thing here and our instant response was to support you and wish you well.
Hopefully we'll hear from you soon so we know you're OK.0 -
Checking in -I'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
Milly? We are still here - post if you need us. OK?0
