  • Hi all,

Am nearly finished day 3. I must admit I did find it quite hard today. I really really miss food. I think I just miss the variety and have to prepare food. Anyway, going to stay motivated on plough on.

Just wondering, how do you know you are in Ketosis stage?

I have the minging breath too by the way but as someone said, I guess it is worth it to lose the weight!

WE CAN DO IT:beer: (We can have a few bevvies when we are gorgeous slender beauties)

Good luck to everyone who is starting this diet.
I lost nearly 2 stone by march off last year and started in jan. It is hard for the 1st few weeks but trust me it does get easier and the results are so worth it.
I had to stop before I reached my target weight due to me falling pregnant I am due my baby in 1 weeks time and can't wait to get back to this diet as I have been eating for 2 and put nearly 4 stone on:eek: .

All the best and happy dieting and look forward to joining you all in the near future:j

    Hi Jen

I know what you mean, I felt hungry yesterday, not helped at all by OH bringing home a kebab

You can buy ketostix which you pee on to check for ketones, I still don't think I am in ketosis yet, last year when I did the diet by day 4 I knew I was in ketosis, my mood changed and I was running round like a nutter with endless energy, that hasn't happened this time and I'm just starting day 5 so I suppose there is still time yet.

My skin has started to clear up now :D

Stick with it today, we can do it!! :T :j

  • I have never used a ketostick to check for ketosis!

The problem with them is that you may only test positive at one point in the day. If you check after a lot of water the test will be negative. It can be very demoralising. So I don't do it!

    Weigh-in for me again today!

You will hit your goals in no time!!

I will have lost 7 stones in about 25 weeks, so you will be okay. I haven't done SS all the way either.
I did SS for 2 months then, due to birthday parties, a wedding etc, I went onto 790. Was going to go back to SS on 5th November but since my losses were more consistent on 790 I decided to stay with the 790.

At a guess I would say you will have the 7 stone goal blasted by July - not September!

I said I would have 5 stones off by Christmas Day - and had lost 6!!

  • When I started out and had a read of other people's successes on CD I was a little sceptical myself.

Now I have been there and done it I know that the success on CD is true!

In the USA the UK Cambridge Diet is marketed as The Success Diet, which I think is rather appropriate!

Just you watch and see the weight fall off!

  • Have lost 3lbs - so not bad at all!!

    Now for next week!

  • :j Yay have nearly completed 4 days. Started off really easy this morning, I really love the Choc mint shakes. Then went out on an inspection (I work for a Housing Association and I have to carry out inspections on our estates) and on the way, I stopped off at McDonalds because I was bursting for a wee. I got myself a black coffee and my colleague a tea. While I was waiting, I was looking up at all the menus and I didn't even think "argh I can't do this". I don't think I thought anything really - just proud of myself for doing this plan and not going off it for 3/4 days.

I just have 3 days left of this week and then I am over the worst of it.

I am so happy I have finished another day - even surrounded by temptation.

It is so much easier with this site I am telling you!

By the way, are diet coke and diet lemonade "no calorie" drinks??

    Byeeeeeee
