Hi,
I have lost 3st with Cambridge a few years back and it was very hard the first 3 days and then it got easier.
I wish you the very best of luck.

After 10 weeks on sole source, i'm now almost 5 stone down.
Anyway, i've found that eating some chicken at least once a week HELPS me lost weight.
However, I have a question about QUORN. It is mentioned as one of the foods you can have in Add A Meal Weeks, but what does it mean? Quorn burgers? What is plain Quorn?0 -
I think the plain quorn is the chunks or the mince. However, theres a cracking "quorn roast" that Ive made for vegetarian mates now and then and its really really good ( states a committed meat eater) its really versatile as well, for example once its cooked you can use it in the same way you can have chicken, however I was going to suggest loads of non-CD things like in sandwiches or pies
Maybe I should say its great in salads! you can also get those quorn fillets in the freezer aisle. theyll work out cheaper than chicken. Also theres some marinated versions in the "sandwich meat sections" of supermarkets- although on SS im not sure you would be able to have the marinade.
Just thought Id check in. My 1000 plan is gonig OK. However, I am struggling to get the full amount of food in- shy of staying up for longer, theres simply no way I am cramming it all in! However,im doin my best
I found a pair of scales out on my travels today- and it looks as though Ive lost 4lbs since Saturday :j so I went to Next Clearance to treat myself to a nicxe new size 8 cardigan, 10 jumper and 10 skirt   Feeling good, and the extra porky weight (from far too much holiday-bad-food) on my face is falling off - YAY!
Im So in love wih cambridge:j #
Hows everyone else going?? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Just to say 5 stone in 10 weeks is utterly amazing - WELL DONE YOU. :T :T:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

On AAMW you can have two of the Quorn bangers or one of the Quorn burgers or the plain Quorn product.
On 790 it is 6 of the Quorn Sausages or 4 of the burgers. That includes the Quorn roast - if you can find it!0 -
I have now lost 2 stones in 8 weeks of 790 so I am thrilled!
Did a weight-loss comparison for my losses on both SS and 790.
Took out the first week's loss and the results came out as -
SS = average 3.7lbs per week loss
790 = average 3.5lbs per week loss
So, for me, not much difference really!

The Quorn fillets look utterly disgusting, so will be sticking to chicken.
How do you know that on AAMW you can have 2 quorn sausages??? What about all the other crap in them, apart from the meat substitute chemical stuff???0 -
The meat substitute in Quorn is from a fungus-base similar to mushrooms, not from a chemical substitute!
The Quorn Chicken fillets are just fine once they have been cooked - I usually put mine in the oven and bake for 20 minutes or so to brown them - same with the sausages.
I am on the Cambridge Forum, the quantities are discussed there for the Quorn products. A couple of months ago I did phone the medical dept at Cambridge to ask about the sausages and they okayed it.

Am going to have a great day today - I have decided!
Drank loads more water yesterday and it has shown on the scales.
Went to a new CDC yesterday who is brilliant!
Have a great day Cambridge everyone!

I must have missed this, have you had a problem with your other CDC?
Just a thought maybe youd know C&Q.
Im on 1000 plan at the mo, and im tending towards having grilled meat & veg for the mains, not so much the "set meals" that they outline. I then add carbs to the tune of the weight, usually whatever OH is having, Ill have the serving of that. (usually brown rice) Just wondering, is there any sauces I can make on the 1000 plan- the rice is dry and boring on its own and im tending towards not eating it- and I know I should. the only sauce really in the recipes is that orange one, which I dont fancy at all. Any thoughts? Ive been drizzling a bit of fat free ceasar dressing on the rice, but its not that nice!! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most?
