I must have missed this, have you had a problem with your other CDC?
Just a thought maybe youd know C&Q.
Im on 1000 plan at the mo, and im tending towards having grilled meat & veg for the mains, not so much the "set meals" that they outline. I then add carbs to the tune of the weight, usually whatever OH is having, Ill have the serving of that. (usually brown rice) Just wondering, is there any sauces I can make on the 1000 plan- the rice is dry and boring on its own and im tending towards not eating it- and I know I should. the only sauce really in the recipes is that orange one, which I dont fancy at all. Any thoughts? Ive been drizzling a bit of fat free ceasar dressing on the rice, but its not that nice!!
If you don't think of anything else Lynzpower you could always make up a little 'sauce' from a soup pack.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

Have a look on here mse.com for the WW low-fat sauce recipes or on ebay for the WW books - they do one on low-fat pasta sauces which would be okay for you.
My last CDC has moved to Spain this week!! Lucky for some!0 -
yeah I guess the ingredients are probably OK now arnt they, as ketosis isnt an issue.
I have some WW books downstairs ( another failed venture!) will have a dig about later. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Hello everyone,
I've been off here for a while and am so thrilled that so many pounds have disappeared in that time - especially CnQ - well done!!!!!!
I was doing really well but then a change of job and move of house to 120 miles away with the new job threw it all up the air and I fell off the wagon big-style.
I'm now settled in digs - with a 50 minute walk from here to work (which I've done at least 3 days out of 5 for the last 2 weeks) - so I've been to see a new CDC in my new area and got started again.
I'm back on SS - and findng it hard to drink enough water (especially at work - where I can't keep dashing out of meetings for the loo!) and today work was so manic I didn't have either of the tetras I had taken with me - so I've just had one this evening!
Hope my first weigh-in shows good results - I'm so fed up carrying the extra pounds - but there's still a little voice in my head telling me I want a kebab! I've resisted so far - I just know next week will be easier once I've seen some of the pounds disappear!
Wishing you all good results this week.0 -
C & Q congratulations on your huge weight loss.
I have to ask..how is your skin coping with your massive weight loss (or anyone else who has done the Cambridge diet..not picking on you personally)?
I was moved by your thread to look at the CD website, and saw that one of their big losers was on that programme...can't remember the name...where you have surgery to correct everything you hate.
I am really tempted to try the diet, but am worried that i will end up with baggy rather than flabby bits. In which case, I think flabby is preferable!
A friend of mine (many years ago) lost huge amounts of weight, very quickly...we still don't know exactly how...but ended up having a private tummy tuck. I have seen the scars...she says to people who don't know, that she survived a shark attack!
You have lost a massive amount of weight, and it sounds fantastic, but how is your skin coping?0 -

Swimming is the best for toning, pilates or yoga!

My skin is absolutely fabulous - not one bit of a problem so far!
Folks I have met who don't know about the diet want to know how I have kept my skin so healthy and glowing! Even my GP mentioned it! I am just glowing with health and vitality, I am full of energy. My skin is clear and toned and nicely pink!
The water helps with the skin issues too.
I swim three times per week, which is excellent for toning.
I use bodyfirming lotion on a morning and Bio Oil in the evening.
The skin will react better to the Cambridge diet since it is total nutrition and the body is getting everything that it needs.
IceMoose had a full tummy-tuck when he thought he was going in for an apronectomy and unfortunately has had a lot of post-operative problems.
A lot of skin issues depends on your own genetics, etc.
I can highly recommend Cambridge to anyone who asks!

its my bosoms that you can tell most on- I only really realised this week.
I was a 38DD but I expect IM more like a B now, I need to go and get remeasured....
Swimming it is then, unless anyone can suggest anything else?? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Everybody be good over the weekend !
It is hard work sticking to a diet when it is so darned cold outside!
I have a fancy for going back to SSing but I couldn't do the 3-a-day, might try the 4-a-day, though, maybe for two weeks, to see what happens.0
