Well it is important to stick to CD and not to cheat in order to get the results!
Hope all goes well!
Did a yummy meal yesterday - fried a sliced chicken breast with some mushrooms in some 1 cal spray oil, added a tiny bit of onion salt which we are not supposed to have, then threw in a couple of tablespoons of low-fat yoghurt and served with cauliflower and broccoli and it was just gorgeous! Will have to make that again!
Got a birthday party tonight but pre-arranged to have a prawn cocktail without the sauce and some plain fish to follow. Water to drink, of course!

Help!
I need to some help getting motivated to start again. I am about a stone and half up from my goal achieved last year. I have put the weight back on over the summer since injury stopped my exercise routine. Since not going to the gym my eating has got out of hand too.:o My couple of attempts to restart have failed but I know I can do it. Will you help get me back on track please. I'll start again in the morning.

How much more do you want to lose?
I find you are an inspiration on your weight loss especially having never cheated. I have finally contacted a new CC via email and shall wait to hear the response....................:o . It's a little bit scary because I feel so awkward but if I don't make the move then I won't get very far.
I'll let you know how I get on.0 -

Hello!
Well, first of all I have to say that CD doesn't require any exercise in order for it to work.
I have really problematic arthritis which gives me no end of pain. I am up to my neck in painkillers and anti-inflammatories, etc. I gained a lot of weight when all this started with a vengeance.
For the first two weeks of CD I did not exercise at all - and I lost 21lbs in those two weeks!
I only go swimming maybe twice a week, it depends how bad my hands are on any particular day.
Cambridge works, there is no doubt about that.
Stick to it and you'll have no problems. If you must eat do AAM all the time.
I am on 790 now, have been for three weeks and have lost another 12lbs in those three weeks, for all I am eating a lot of food!! Yes, high protein and low-GI carbs.
Hope all goes well for your start! Enjoy the journey, it is the most exciting journey I have ever taken!
I have a few more stones to lose but it doesn't worry me in the slightest, the weight is just sliding off me!
Do pm me if you want to/need to, I will try to help!

How is everybody getting on?
The weather has turned very cold and wet - I hope no-one is wanting to pig out on mince & dumplings!!!
I have managed to stick to my 790 with no problems, in fact I have really enjoyed it so far!

Well done on the trousers Toots!!
Even the trousers I have that fit me are suddenly very long in the body and the legs and are trailing on the floor!!!! Jackets are impossible.
I see my Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle specialist on 19th December and was working out that it is 10 weeks' time.
A conservative estimate would be that I lose 3lbs per week, so 30lbs or just over 2 stones, making 6 stones by Christmas. If I manage 4lbs per week that would be 40lbs or nearly 3 stones, which I sincerely hope I can do!! Am hoping to be at goal by the end of April 2008. Not sure how the weight loss will slow as my weight drops, though, that might become a problem.
When I saw that Consultant he insisted on my being weighed - I had not been anywhere near scales for 22 years - isn't that a terrible confession? I gained weight when I was ill for the best part of 18 months and could barely move. Once I got medication it put everything right.
Have discovered that the less swimming I do the more weight I lose! Which makes sense from a medical point of view since a VLCD plus exercise will send the body into conservation mode, hence a slower weight loss.
Am going to do some pilates when I find the DVD that I bought especially for the purpose!
Keep up the good work!0
