  • We have all had the same problem with the 2 tablespoons!

I had two decent heaped tablespoons of veg on AAMW.

Now on 790 I have three large heaped tablespoons of veg, or maybe a little more. The veg on the official Cambridge list are very very low in carbs and have been chosen for that reason, so provided you don't go too mad you would be okay with a little more.

When I have spinach it is chopped and frozen in blocks, I just pop a couple into the microwave for a few minutes. So my one portion of spinach would actually contain more spinach than your few leaves!

    Hope this helps.

I've decided I'm going to look for a new CC. Reading all these posts on this thread has made me realise I have not been "taught" properly as a fair number of you have said. Shall go and look at the list again and pluck up the courage to call someone or ..................email them! ;)

Thanks everyone - carry on the good work! :T

Well done, CnQ - fantastic weight loss! I've been watching this thread for a while. I do need to lose weight - have done SW before and was successful with that but I don't seem to be able to do it at the mo for some reason. I was thinking about low carbing and seeing how I get on with that....also having a lot of problems with pain & bloating these days.

Any idea where I can get hold of a list of foods/carbs etc. I know what carbs are (says she who lives on pasta, bread etc) but I need to know good carbs/bad carbs...if you know what I mean.

I'd be grateful for any help you can offer....the rate that you're all losing makes CD very tempting...although I'd get told off by OH. Having said that..he's away on business for 3 weeks in October.....hmmmmm :rotfl:

    Miss u sweetie...
  • I can highly recommend CD. Even if you only want to use it on a temporary basis to kickstart you on a low-carb lifestyle.

The best site to look for low-carb ideas is Atkins.

CD is similar to Atkins in that it is low-carb but without the fat that Atkins allows you to have.

You could always have a go at CD whilst your OH is away !

Not really. I'm still no closer to knowing what '2 tablespoons' is.

However, I have another, rather more embarassing problem, which i'd be interested in knowing if anyone else has been having.

Sometimes when i've drunk a lot of water in a short period of time, i'm finding i'm sometimes unable to hold it all in, ie when I fart, I follow through. Today, I had chicken and aspargas mixed into a Chilli soup for lunch, and it wasn't a pretty sight when I got up to go for a leak about an hour later.

Sorry to be graphic, but if anyone else is having the same problem, i'd like to know.
  • Ohh I am so jealous of you all doing Cambridge. I did it last year and lost almost 2 stone in a month it was fab. I can't afford to go back on it now, plus i needed 4 packs as i am 6ft tall so was mega bucks every week, but seeing the weight fall off was worth the cash!!

    Good luck to you all!
  • Thanks!

You could always do 790 which is 3 shakes plus a meal!
  • Has everyone gone on holiday with Lyn????????
