This was posted on minimins, which I am sure some of you have seen.
It would come in handy if you happened to be out of CD packs and didn't want to blow your CD diet.
"My nutritionist friend took a look at a tetra from CD and told me a way of recreating the diet (SS) for only £0.91p a day.
Obviously this info isnt here to persuade you to ditch the CD but just to let you know that there is an alternative which has EXACTLY the same nutritional content!!
3x 200ml skimmed milk per day
3x 1tsp skimmed milk powder per day
1x multivitamin tablet per day
1x omega 3 fish oil capsule per day
1x sachet of fybogel per day
The total cost of this for 1 day is approx £0.90p which saves at least £4.50 per day when compared with the CD tetra packs!!! "

I am full of cold and feeling sorry for myself this morning.
Have made a start on getting rid of clothes - again!
Having a rest for a cup of coffee!
Got a whole bag of stuff for the Charity Shop plus one for the bin. Some suits to sell on Ebay too, when there is a 10lp listing day, I think.
Got rid of all my knickers and bras since I cannot stand baggy of either. Bought some smaller sizes in Tesco on the knicker front - five pairs for £2.50! Got some new bras on ebay for £1.50 each, so they were a bargain too!

it'll be great when the sales come round and you can fit into all the tiny sale sizes that are left c'n'q! It's not very money saving in the beginning though, is it!!Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
I have clothes in my wardrobe from a size 14 to a 28!!
The 22/24/26/28's are going out altogether now.
I like Sales anyway! I buy most of my clothes from the USA on ebay.
My one disappointment is going to be a gorgeous purple leather coat I bought last Winter and have never worn - it is way too big for me now. There is a decent dressmaker here who could probably alter it for me but it would literally be remaking it. It might just be better to give in and sell it, I suppose. I paid about £50 for it, brand new, including p&p so not overly expensive.
Suits sell well on ebay, so they shouldn't be a problem to sell.
Will give it a go and if they don't sell, they can go to the Charity Shop.
I am in a 'throwing out' phase right now, I had better make the most of it!

hi everyone, feels like I've been away for ages-the internet at uni has been having problems so I haven't had the chance to get on!
after my horrible 2nd week where I didn't loose anything I lost another 7 pounds on my 3rd week so have lost 16lbs in 3 weeks which I'm really happy about and am getting weighed this wednesday so fingers crossed!
my counsellor up here is so much better than the one I had at home, doesn't charge extra for bars(not that I buy them cos I hate them) but is really helpful and spends loads of time talking to you so I'm hoping its success from now on
am slightly worried about this weeks weigh in however and I went out for the first time drinking since being on c.d and got really drunk and ended up fainting on thursday morning(not good at all!) definitley going to avoid alcohol from now on, really hope it hasn't affected my weight loss too much this week!
hows everyone else getting on?

When im back im going pretty much back into SSing - so hopefully back on the wagon then, with maintainence stages in time for Xmas, hopefully. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I'm having a sort out of clothes today but I must admit it is really upsetting when you have something you really love that is too big - especially coats.
As things get too big, unless they can be altered reasonably cheaply, I am going to get rid of them so that hopefully I will never let myself put weight on again. This is definitely not one of many attempts on CD - THIS IS IT!!
Thanks for mentioning that suits sell well on ebay - I'll register and see if I can recoup some of what I've spent. I have quite a few suits that no longer fit.
Coats tend to gain size really quickly, I've found!
I bought a Summer cropped trouser suit from US Ebay then decided to start CD the following week. When it arrived I tried it on and it fitted but I would have wanted it slightly looser. Now - way too big - falling off me!!! As fast as that!
I wear a lot of leather and suede which is going to be a shame because none of them are going to fit me. Oh well, I cannot have it all ways - either I lose the weight or I don't - I prefer losing the weight rather than keeping it just for the sake of wearing the odd piece of clothing I really like.
C'est la vie!

Got my weigh-in tomorrow.

Hi,
I'm in my 5th week of Cambridge, and have lost 2 stone, 3 pounds so far.
This is my first add a meal week, and i'm finding it hard to work out how much food I can actually have.
Meat and fish are fine...as they're just weighed out on the scales. But it's the rather vague "2 spoon fulls" of veg that i've got trouble with. How much is "2 spoons"????
What I really need is a picture of a portion size.
So far, i've been having a 3 small florets of cauliflower and 5 or 6 spinach leaves. Is this too much?
