Good luck to new starters today :D:D

The first few days can be pretty harsh- with this rainy weather theres nothing else for it than to retire to bed early with a nice book or similar, if you feel rotten.

MAKE SURE Y'ALL MEASURE as well as weigh.

Ive just got dressed for work and put on this black v neck top, that someone once reffered to as my "bet lynch top" as my boobs were always flabbing out of it, now I look v slimline. SUPER PLEASED :D

The size 12 holiday trousers fit :j now :D

    Well happy.

C&Q- dog did like the cod, she had over half of it. Couldnt finish the leaves either! I did enjoy it tho, havnet had fish for seemingly ages. I never want to move off this plan. NEVER!

    Todays plan
    Shake for brek
    tetra to take to work
small portion of salad leaves with a tablespoon of c cheese for lunch
turkey thin cut steak & rest of salad leaves for tea
bar for pud- or miht substitute for a hot choc with orange :)

Hope everyone goes well today, get that water ( or hot drinks ) down you, especially in this rainy weather. I want to wear my mini clothes to show off my new figure, but alas its like fleece weather here in London! Oh well only a few more days till Im in 90-odd degrees F :p

    TA ra!!

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • It is most important to measure yourself and not rely on the scales.

Last Wednesday on my weigh-in I had only lost 1lb.

However, I put a jacket on that I hadn't work for one week. When I wore it it fitted neatly. When I tried it on after just 7 days it was really loose! So 1lb off or not, something is disappearing - ME! :j :j

Lyn - well done on your size 12's!!:T

The weather up north today is dull and dreary and wet!
  • I completely agree - measure as well! I've only been on it a week but my jeans are already falling off! :T
  • For those on the 790 Plan -

    Made a new recipe!!

Took my 10ozs of Quorn mince and cooked it in some water with some button mushrooms.

Added one sachet of the CD Chicken & Mushroom Soup - less water than is usually required to thicken it up a little. Added a little pepper and some steak seaoning.

    Served with Spinach and Asparagus

    It certainly improved the Quorn!

I have made half and will have the other half later on.

  • Just to let you know I have restarted today as planned. All is well!

Thank you for all the good wishes and encouragement it is helping.

I still cant get on Cambridge forum :( Never mind.

Generally feeling really good today- office days are bit betyter, cos I can glug away and go the loo as often as my bladder desires

Quick question for anyone who knows,

I am ( as I said earlier) looking pretty good right now. Im going on holiday soon, and im off the plan there then will deal with it when I get back , will probably sole source/ AAM.

When I get back to being this size again ( should take a few weeks I imagine) can I stop, and work up the plans ( not that I can see where I can fit the extra food in IYSWIM)

Although my BMI is *about* 27/28

I have to take back a size 10-12 dress as its too big, the size down is 6-8 which should be about right/slightly too tight ( ie will loosen a bit with washing)

I dont think I should lose *much* more than this really. My cdc is somewhat fixated on the BMI.

Can I tell her what I want or does she know best?

Emmzi - Im quite surprised you dont want to see any CDC as you are *fat* all CDCs have gone through the CD themselves- as they were overwight/obese too! I certainly havent had any sort of judgment from mine ( well she couldnt really could she!?) I was expecting her to be a bit like that diet group woman on little britiain! But no, she is lovely! And she was shortlisted for slimmer of the year etc, she was obvioulsly much bigger than she is now, and looks fantastic now! I wouldnt let the "embarrasment" get in the way, having someone who has been through it and stil maintaining is a marvellous support!

chuffedness is definately a real word ;):D

    Thanks!

It really is so great to know that this really is money "well spent". On a MSE tip, this is really some of the best VFM Ive found on this site :D I was considering Lipo before!

funnily enough, I was watching a bit of "bride & grooming last night- anyone seen this? Me & OH always say to each other "how weird, walking down the aisle and finding OH there with a face you dont know every line of ? How odd. AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, the guy had lipo and IIRC lost 8lbs or possibly 10lbs.

I found myself shouting at the telly "you should have done the CD, you would have lost more than that! ( without the pain, hospitalisation, anguish, not being able to move etc)

Does anyone else find themselves eulogising? I know one freind must be sick of the sound of me banging on about how amazing CD is ( yes lou! if you are watching!) but I just want everyone who is overweight to feel as wicked as I do, and chuffed as I am!

    !

Fabulously well done on the dress size!!

Where your BMI is concerned at the end of the day it is up to you.

If you want to stop at the weight you are now, that is up to you.

If you want to go down to BMI of 25 or 23 it is up to you.

If you are at a weight and a size you feel happy at, then so be it. You have to live in your body and with your body on a daily basis, not your CDC.

The BMI of 25 is a guideline, it isn't written in stone.

As I have said before, at a BMI of 25 I would be a skinny rake.

I have a large skeletal frame - my wrists are 7" with the tape measure pulled tight! My Orthopaedic Surgeon said to aim for 27 and see how I look/feel and take it from there.
