Get yourself back on the wagon Lyn! You can do it!

    Hope everyone is doing well!

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • Both minims and cambridgedieters.com are excellent forums. Very different from each other, but both full of good advice.

I tend to use minimins more as there are more maintainers on there along with those doing CD. I also like the variety of the posts :) The cambridge one is much smaller and so more intimate. It's easier to get to know each other.

Aww :( Poor you. It's so hard when you take yourself out of ketosis isn't it. Makes the 'journey' doubly difficult.

Have you tried splitting your packs? I always split mine as I couldn't bear the thought of not being able to have something 'shortly'.

    Keep strong.

  • Lyn has been splitting her packs for a while now - something I have never done.

I have had to go onto the 790 plan and am finding it hard to eat the quantity of food. Today was 10oz of Quorn, which I just couldn't eat.
May just stick with AAMW quantities instead.
  • You could split the quorn C'n'Q. I did that too.

i dont think im out of ketosis to be honest with you, I just struggle to drink the water as Im driving all day. Its a nightmare, I seem to be getting some bladder weakness as it is! ( i literally had to pull th van over before and go for a wee on the hard shoulder before :o) And thats only on the 2 litres I can get down. I simply dont have the time with the job to be nipping to the loo every 2 mins, as this involves coming out of the motorway and into services etc - lose a good 30 mins each time really, once Ive parked the van. My job simply wont allow it.

I cant split my tetra- Its down in one as it is. I cant split my breakfast one any more, as I need to get going first dawn, so I just have to down it and leg it!

the evening one isnt important, maybe Ill try for half a bar at night then have half of it in the day time. I dont know, but CD is clearly only for those that have access to loos at all times- something I just do not have try as I might.

    :(

  • I'm a teacher so I had problems with loo breaks if I drunk too much, so had most of my water in the evening. I rarely went over 2.5L.

Perhaps you could split your tetra the night before (the drink 15-20 minute rule doesn't apply to tetras) and decant 1/2 into a beaker. The other half put in your early morning coffee or just drink before you leave.

I would certainly split the bars and have half in the evening. I had to have my half bar then. Couldn't imagine going a whole evening without that and my big coffee when the kids were in bed.

You had a biscuit and some peanuts a couple of days ago. Are you sure you are still in ketosis. That would knock me out for sure. I did get hungry on CD, but only when a 'meal' was due.

  • Today I have had one shake, one bar and half of the Quorn from 790.

I need to have a soup or a shake and the other half of the Quorn - and I am not in the slightest bit hungry for any of it.

I teach too!!! Adults, though, not children.

Well, I dont think I am really the main time Im hungry is in the mid morning - afternoon slot. Evenings Im fine as when I get in I down a litre or so of water, couple of peppermint teas, coke zero, etc then have dinner and a bar over the course of the evening.

When I first started CD i had tetra and I was still hungry after it. I think they are a bit small, really so I started taking my blender and a normal shake pack into work. At least then I could split it.

Ive decided to have an office day today to get back into it.

My weigh in last night showed a further loss, so IM happy with that, despite the nibbles.

CDC has put me to 790 now, sos I can split the meal, have half for lunch ( cottage cheese salad with LF c cheese) and same for tea. I just need to force myself to stick to it, and where possible eat in the day then have shakes etc at night.

    Wish me luck!!
