Im alright actually C&Q.
I must admit, Im a bit worried about how mcuh longer I should be doing this for. Im still on AAM ( as per the cdcs advice) before I go away. On thursday I was 10stone 1, with a BMI of 26.1 ( i think)
I read on minimins that you shouldnt be SSing if your BMI is 25 or below.
Im struggling to work out, how much longer I should be SSing for?
Need to see my CDC really, missed speaking to her last week cos of the tube-strike farrago, and she hasnt weighed me now for almost 2 weeks, the only reason I know i was 10s 1 on thurs is cos I happened to go to the drs.
Iwonder if Im near 25 now? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Actually what bothers me about this is that due to the amount i had to lose ( not a lot really) that there isnt really the time to gradually move up through the plans.
I go on hoiday in 2 weeks, and I could do with still losing a bit more ( definatley still got some spare fat coming out of bikini!)
But if i go to 790 this week, then1000 a week later? Doesnt really seem gradual enough for me to maintain properly? Does that make sense? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

You will be fine doing 790 for a week then 1000 - and you will still lose weight.
Go to a BMI site - Cambridge have one on www.cambridgedieters.com and keep changing the weight until you get it to BMI 25.
Cambridge say that you only do SS until BMI of 25 plus 1 stone, so I would say you are that now.0 -
hi everyone, sounds like your all doing great! really hope I've lost 38lbs in 6 weeks time C&Q you've done so well!
I'm just coming to the end of my 3rd day and to be honest have found it all really easy so far, haven't had any side effects and have only felt slight pangs of hunger every so often but nothing strong enough to make me feel tempted to eat, hope it stays like this for the duration of the diet!
whats your goal weight lynzpower?

Well done CJC!
I haven't had any side effects or any problems since Day 1 either!
Day 48 today!0 -
First of all I think that it isn't weight gain, it is water retention.
Also, the CD water-flavourings, with some people, can cause you to come out of ketosis.
I would wait and see until you have had 7 days on AAM and see what the weigh-in results are then. Your body-weight fluctuates, that is why I never ever weigh other than after every 7 days.0 -
Just your body adjusting itself.
The thing is that we normally pay no attention to these fluctuations that are going on - it is just because we are aware of it that it becomes an issue.0 -
I agree with c n q toots, just wait and see what you weigh next week and try not to get too despondent! your body fluctuates so much whilst trying to loose weight so you may loose quite a bit next week to make up for this week, that used to happen to me on weightwatchers!
I'm on day 4 now and feeling fine, although a bit weak if I stand up too quickley which isn't good but I'm hoping its just temporary!0 -

Hi all
I am startng the diet tomorrow and am doing The Sole Source.
Any tips?
Be strong
Don't cheat
Drink at least 2.5L of water per day
If you can I would split the 3 packs into 6 for the first couple of days, until you get used to it.
go to www.cambridgedieters.com to the Forum - you will love it!
Good luck!0
