I thinlk I'll give the tofu a miss then as it doesn't sound very appetising - not very money-saving I know but I can't stand anything that isn't full of flavour. My cottage cheese and cucumber was pretty unappetising tonight too. I forgot that I love cottage cheese but only when it has pineapple in it so that's a big no-no.

Looks like I'll have to alternate between chichen and white fish for the rest of the AAM week.

cjc - good luck with the diet. If you can stick at WW and lose so much weight I'm sure you'll manage CD. I actually love some of the soups - especially the Oriental Chilli so if you can find even one that you find really tasty then you'll be fine. Hopefully as you've been cutting the carbs already you may escape the headaches. When I started I only had a mild headache a couple of times - nothing to really bother me.

There's Quorn, tuna and prawns you could have too!
  • I did the CD years ago ! didn't lose much as I was always hungry, I've spent all my life battling with my weight. I'm not a 'sweet' person, never been one for chocolate or cake but I've always loved bread, pasta, crisps, pasties etc etc...I''m now doing a low carb diet, not strictly Atkins as I eat fruit. I have lost 1 stone 3lbs so far and find I'm never hungry on this. Had a lot of support and recipes from this site http://www.low-carbdiet.co.uk/
good luck - which ever way you go !
  • Low-Carb Atkins and CD are totally different!

I am never hungry on CD and haven't been since Day 1 - now on Day 38 having lost 2st 10lbs.

How very odd:confused: I'm sorry but I wonder if you kept to it as written as you are almost bound to lose a stone a month+ and shouldn't have been hungry:confused: Sounds like something was you were having was taking you out of ketosis.

But anyway, that isn't what I was going to reply to:D It was the next bit

Good on ya for finding a plan that suits you:j I didn't do that one, but I did do Atkins (amongst every other diet:rolleyes:). I loved it for a while, but plateaued after I had lost the first couple of stone:( Others do really well on it though:T

I really feel that most diets work, it's just finding the right one for yourself. Wishing you all the best with your chosen plan :)

I always had the chicken. Tried the white fish once, but didn't like it without a whole load of other things added:rolleyes: Chicken was fine, and I never bored of it. There again, I never really approached AAMW as having a proper dinner. It was just to enhance my Cambridge :D

Wouldn't bother with the prawns. Last I heard, Cambridge decided that such a little amount was allowed, it was hardly worth it.

  • Ah but you get a lot of prawns to the ounce - so more to look at!

I love prawns and it was the only thing that kept me going the first four weeks.
