    Afternoon everyone,
Hope everyone is feeling good. I woke up this morning feeling so fresh and alive, I can't believe it. my mother in law came round today to watch my little bubba while I went to sainsburys to do the weekly food shop, I was dreading it buying all the nice foods for the rest of the family, but it was actually fine I wasn't tempted at all and got it all done really quickly, I feel like I have a new lease of life. Then when I came back in I made lunch for MIL and again no temptation..... WOO HOO!

I hope this means I'm over thye worst of it now. My CDC said it should take 3 days of feeling ropey and then plain sailing after that.

I love hearing how well everyone else is getting on and how much weight you are all loosing it is a true inspiration.....
This thread is the best xxxx

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum.
I started CD three weeks ago and i am now onto my fourth week i got weighed this afternoon and have lost a stone altogether.
I however did have a few vodka and tonics, followed by a chicken salad on my 2nd week and only lost 2 pound i thought this was because of the drinking but this week i have been really good and again have lost two pound.
I'm only a 19 year old girl and it's not fair when my friends are socializing and I'm dying to have a drink this weekend, what's your thoughts?

(despite that everyone has noticed how much weight i have lost, my skin is a lot clearer and I'm feeling so much confident)

    Thank you xxx

Hi everyone. Im struggling a little today, im craving stodge, its my TOTM though, so it's probably that. I have a feeling it's going to affect my weigh in tomorrow, because I do feel bloated.

Im going to have a lazy weekend, meant to be out tomorrow night in Newcastle, but recalling how tramatic last week was with no booze, think Im gonna be a hermit this weekend, just to be on the safe side.

    Hi Faye
You have done so well. wow a stone in 4 weeks.
I sympathise with you as you are so young and of course you are gonna want to go out and have fun.
I think that women tend to loose weight differently throughout a month. I know when I've dieted before on weight watchers there was always one week a month that I didn't loose...or didn't loose as much. I always put it down to my period coming. Don't loose faith you've done so well you should be proud of yourself. I'm new to this thread too I've only been doing CD for 3 days so this is all new to me, but listening to you about your weight lose is an inspiration, keep in touch this thread will help you along the way. Take care xxx:cool:

Hi Anzi - I had the oriental chilli soup the other night but really disliked it, urgghh not my cup of tea at all - unfortunatley it didn't have the same affect on me as it did you LOL.

Hiya Faye - welcome - I can sympathise with you about being out with your mates while they're all drinking and eating yummy foods and you're having to be restrained - the thing is, you've just got to think to yourself, it's not forever and it will SO be worth it. I'm 28 and I've spent the last 8 years yo-yo-ing with my weight. So nearly the whole of my 20's have been spent on a diet or being miserable because I wasn't on a diet and was piling on the weight....I know it's hard now, but you'll be so much happier (and probably healthier) when you've lost the weight you want to loose.

I'm a super social person and if my partner and I aren't out with friends, then I'm out with my girlfriends, having dinner, going out dancing/drinking - so at the moment I am finding it a bit of a struggle but I know it will be worth it. I know it's easier said than done but stick with it - you can always come on here and have a moan or look for inspiration - everyone is really friendly and at the end of the day, we're all in the same boat!

How much more have you got to loose - do you have something to aim for?

    Hello ladies
I cant believe it has been a couple of days since last posted and you have all lost so much weight since then, WELL DONE TO YOU ALL! Faye i am fairly new on day 6, first weigh in today at 10 so feeling a little nervous but also excited, have weighed myself on my scales and think I have only lost a few Ibs but I suppose it is better than putting it on. Had my first day back at work yesterday since starting CD and was surprised at how easy it was, real temptation is that the water machine is next to the chocolate machine how tempting is that so have decided today that from now on I will take no money to work, that way even if urge is overwelming wont be able to go there.
Mum still in hospital have another meeting, on Monday, to go to, finding this hard along with trying to lose weight, but just keep thinking about hols in August, talking of which went to Tescos the other day and saw a loverly swim suit in the sale, I picked up a size smaller than what I am now (wishful thinking, no going to re phrase that POSITIVE thinking) and my hubby said you dont want to get that now, you will be much smaller than that when we go away, we will go shopping for a whole new wardrob before we go, OOH I love him to bits (sorry for slush). well ladies will keep you updated about weight lose, have got work at 2 so we will see how today goes.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK EVERYONE!

    Hi Catty212

Good luck with your weigh in today, I'm sure you'll be pleased once your there...
Hows everyone else doing today. I went round to my sisters last night had a family reunion, relatives from France came over... Loads of pizzas were ordered with lashings of garlic bread..... needless to say I sat in the corner drinking my water and black tea, I felt fine no temptation at all even though everyone was taking the mick.... Ha Ha just they wait and see in a few months I'll hopefully be a skinny minnie....
Have a great weekend everyone xxx
