if it stays the same, i.e.flesh colour then that's no ketosis so bad news.... anything else from pink to purple indicates ketosis so that's good... although dark purple can indicate dehydrated...(but that's normal first thing in the morning as pee is always stronger)

    Thanks Maz

Two packets through my 2nd day on CD. Feeling ok, shattered, but think Im just tired in general. Have had two lazy days, and am little worried about going back to work tomorrow, hoping I dont feel too knackered at work.

  • A bit gutted , only lost 2.5lbs. I'm 1 pound short of 2 stone, although it is only my 5th week so i should be pleased.

Well if I am going to pay you £35 to repost this I suggest you get your grammar right first. Or learn to use an apostrophe!

  • Thanx for the advice and link to minimins (Land of) Maz. I have made contact with a cdc so hopefully will arrange a meet soon so i can start the cd. I have just started a 10 week running programme thats in Running Made Easy. Its not over the top and eases ppl into running easily (so they say!) so hopefully i'll be able to manage both. Can i just ask, are you doing ss?

Mercury, it had to slow down sometime mate!!!! It's still an amazing rate in 5 weeks, you'll burst the 2 stone in 6 weeks barrier by next week i'm sure of it!!!

I started the Cambridge diet yesterday and stuck to it, only drinking water and rooibosh tea with lemon. One of the soups I bought I discovered was a week out of date but I didn't think it would matter so I drank it last night. About an hour later I had diarrhoea which also affected me during the night. I am lactose intolerant and have bought some of the lactose free drinks ( my counsellor didn't have many ) but I take lactase tablets which mean I can absorb the lactose and should be ok. Has anyone else found this kind of problem? I also have a headache this morning even though I drank plenty of water. I can't get in touch with my counsellor until this evening - any advice please?
