I'm the same guys, i was having breakfast shakes but i'm managing better by waiting til lunchtime to have my first of the day, then one at teatime, then one mid evening....

If i do get hungry mid morning, i have a cuppa tea to stall myself!

oh and loads and loads of water!!

Well, I did my 8.5k run last night and whizzed up the hills, woo hoo.....

Have been better lately on the CD mainly because I am back at work and back to a routine, so hopefully I will have lost a couple of lbs on Friday.

Hoping to go out for another run in the morning before I go to work, as I felt so much better last night having run but the endorphins kicked in and I didn't go to sleep until 1am!

I am however rapidly starting to hate the flavours of all the shakes except the vanilla ones...

my running is definitely improving, even just the stone or so, so far has made a real difference... I'm glad yours is coming along well too babes...!

It helps to be at work and be busy, away from temptations at home!

Fingers crossed you get a couple of pounds this week babes....

my weigh in is tomorrow, i'm not sure what my loss will be... fingers crossed for 2-3lbs too....

re the flavours, i am pretty much existing on vanilla/chocolate packs and strawb/choc tetras... anything else is forced down!!

A question to those who are au fait with the Cambridge Diet...

How long does it take your body to go back into ketosis? More importantly, how easy is it to fall out? I've been having a horrendous week and ended up having some chicken last night. Nothing else, just chicken... but quite a bloody lot of it.

Is this the kind of thing that can throw you out of ketosis?
  • Chcken contains very little carbs as far as i know. Depends how much you had though!! As calories will kick you out too

  • if you are worried about coming in and out of ketosis, invest in some ketostix from any chemist... that way you can monitor your own tolerence... some people will come out at the slightest thing, whereas others are more able to stay in... it is very different for everyone....

i am due to get weighed tonight again... as ever i don't feel a loss but will have to wait and see i guess......
