  • Had a small meal last night. Turkey kebabs with salad. I really enjoyed it and don't think it will affect me to much.

I suppose i'll find out on Tuesday!

    Hi Guys

Been hoping to rejoin you on this thread. You may remember I was having a really successful run at cambridge from 1/1/09 and had a nineteen day perfect run and then out of the blue stopped and couldn't get back. I was really surprised as I was enjoying it felt great and had no cravings. Well this week I have found out I'm pregnant ( a real shocker thought I'd finished with all that) I now wonder if that was why I stopped as I would have been a few days pregnant when I stopped. Weird ah!

    Good Luck all!

congratulations shop to drop....our bodies always know best.....

I am struggling with CD myself over the last week - I still lost 2lbs this week even though I had had a few meals out. I said I would give sole source 1 more week and then go on an eating plan but I made a fillet steak with fried potatoes last night and we are off out for another meal tonight..I also snuck in a creme egg last night - the first bit of chocolate I have had since New Year....

I am just hoping that once OH goes back to work tommorrow that I will be able to get back on track.

  • i've been sorta struggling too since weigh in on thursday... i ws happy with 2.5lbs loss but when i came home i had my usual "something to eat on a thursday treat"..... but i was naughty and made it a ham sandwich and a bag of crisps.... ironically i never came out of ketosis... however since then i've been nibbling like a nibbly thing.... nothing bad and i doubt i've overdone the calories........ but it's like i've slipped back into letting myself eat and that's bad....

i need to get back on 100% soul source again and have no permitted foods at all..... once i'm in there it feels fine but it's habitual eating so has to stop.... plus i'm skipping shakes which is leaving me with a surplus of shakes... my CDC does this thing where you can't buy less meals than your programme states... i suppose it's the way she protects her income....

if i want a loss on thursday this week then i must must must screw the heid and stay focused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it doesn't help that a friend of mine started CD on sunday last week and has lost 10.5 lbs on her first week.... i should be happy for her but she is the kinda person who always has to go one better and that is nice for her, but annoying for me!! - sorry !!!!!iness over.....
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Yes, SS+ includes milk which can be used how you like :)

Hi, thanks for this forum, it is dead inspiring!

Can you help me though please? I went to my counsellor last week but have started today as i am off for the week and thought if i felt bad then i was better feeling bad at home!!
I decided to do ss+ as i wanted some milk in my coffee!! My cdc said that ss+ was 3 milk shakes etc plus 200ml skimmed milk, but when i've read the leaflets it says i should have 4 shakes plus the milk allowance, what should i do??

    Thanks

Hi, Im on my day 5 and as my counsellor said I can have either 3 shakes + small meal (just few choices) or 4 shakes and milk...
Im on 4 shakes and milk and find myself feeling great... and after reading few stories in the forum I consider myself lucky as I didnt have any headaches, not hungry - nothing bad at all just feeling great.... though I miss alcohol on nights out... :rotfl:
  • Thanks
Do you think it will hurt if i go over my 200 ml milk allowance, as its my first day and i have almost used it up already!! I have only bought enough stuff for 3 a day, as that was what my cdc recommended. Will 3 plus milk be ok do you think?

Honestly, I dont know. If I were you I would probably try to contact my counsellor and ask if I can come to buy more stuff asap... I probably would have that extra milk if she cant see you early enough because though Im doing really well I think I would miss that fourth meal...

Its hard to say what is right and what is wrong....

and drink plenty of water... that definitely helps to make you feel full!!!!
  • Depends on your height. As i'm male i have 4 packs. Women under 5 ft 8 i think have 3 packs, over that height and you'd have 4. If on sole source+, you'd have the same amount of packs plus milk.
