oh bindi, i'm doing okay today...1 shake down and 2 for later... but i have been very nibbly over the weekend (was off monday too!)

Back to work today and it's easier to manage my time/food ratio when i'm here... it's when i get home i find myself opening the fridge and looking for "something"! usually just a slice of ham or piece of chicken but still naughty!

I haven't seen any movement on my scales this week at all, weigh in is on thursday night and i really don't want a static week.... 3 days to put it right and work hard!!!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    how we all doing today
Good thanks. Only just had my first soup  - I usually have my first at 1pm but time has completely flown by today.

Had my sixth weigh in on Sunday...

    Week 1: 12lbs loss
    Week 2: 8lbs loss
    Week 3: 4lbs loss
    Week 4: 9lbs loss
    Week 5: 3lbs loss
    Week 6: 5lbs loss

Total loss 41lbs (1lb short of 3 stone!!)

My BMI has dropped from 36.5 to 31. One more and I am officially just overweight :T

I still haven't cheated which I am really suprised about. Keep up the good work everybody!!

Hiya Im sure this is posted, but as Im at work, dont have time to read the whole thread - Im impatient :)

When doing CD do you have to have a councillor? Can the products be bought without having a councillor?

I was very interested in doing LL but the cost put me off and having to commit myself to long councilling sessions (I work erratic shifts). Is CD a good alternative?

counselling is a lot less intense with CD... i think they are legally obliged to give you a certain amount of spiel when you start, and it is interesting and useful to know... but they don't sit you down and analyse you so it's a lot more relaxed in that respect.... you can get as much or as little from them, input wise, as you want......

Call up a local CDC in your area and see how you feel you get on when on the phone, that should give you a clear indication of whether you'll get on... some are more intense than others... i have 2 CDC's a husband and wife and they are like chalk n cheese!!!

  • After reading much of this thread, having about 5 stone to lose and not had success with conventional diets I have made an appointment to see a Cambridge diet counsellor tomorrow. EEK!
One of my daughters is getting married in early summer and I want to feel a bit better by then, although I know it'll take longer than that to lose all the weight. Thankyou to all for the information I've found here.
    Fingers firmly crossed!!

    Good Luck Church mouse.

You can lose five stone by the summer with Cambridge if you are determined enough.
