Mikeassured, if you like Angel dlight- the butterscotch one is very similar to that. The strawberry one reminds me of nesquick. I like all the shakes, but I havent triedthe fruit of forest one, and this week I got one banana one to try.
I bought soups that I wasnt keen on at all and my cdc swapped them for me to shakes. Just make sure you keep the packs safe, and dont puncture the packets- obviously your cdc wont be able to resell them if that has happened.
Not hungry yet, probably wont eat till gone 9 then a bar later.
totm has finally arrived so with a touch of luck this bloating will go down! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Maybe you are heading into ketosis already if you dont fancy food! If so well done! Drink plenty of water between now and then too - will help you acclimatise!

well, I'm seeing a CDC on Tuesday at 5pm for my first ever consultation, I'm so excited! :j
I have just over 5 stone to loose, I've done WW and SW in the past but what failed me wasn't my willpower but the sheer choice of food and sometimes getting it wrong  , so I think this will be perfect for me.
I've been reading this thread over the last few days and it's really inspired me. I recently joined a gym, so will carry on going 3 times a week to use the pool.
After reading the advice on this thread and the official site I've reduced my carbs, but over the last 2 days I actually don't fancy any food, maybe my brain is totally ready for this .... or really scared :rotfl: .
Hopefully I'll keep you posted on my progress on this thread, if that's ok?
Can't wait!!
Lou xx
p.s. shall we make it official with a signature update? I've been feeling a bit left out :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I went into ketosis within about 36 hours by going lowcarb prior to starting CD. CD actually do advise this but a lot of folks don't bother with it then wonder why they have headaches, etc.
Good luck!!0 -
Do go to www.cambridgedieters.com and then to the Forum - it is so motivational and inspirational!
Also, there are loads of before and after photos which will make you gasp!0 -
With any diet plan you choose you need to have your head in the right place in order to stick with it.
For me Cambridge is so stringent that I stick to it - there is no room for manoeuvre. I like that very much. Also the fact that it works.0 -
But the big question is C&Q, will your new fella recognise you on the next date?
You seem to be losing at a rate of knots

hi everyone, reading this thread is amazing... and youve got me really interested!
Ive managed to lose 2 stone in about 6 months, but not in a healthy way at all! So this looks good to me, my one problem is pepsi max(it used to be full fat coke so im getting better)! How have you coped missing out on the stuff you like? I want to drop the caffine fix altogether - it sounds as thought this diet helps with energy levels so this could be perfect for me!
Im going to check myself out with the doctor tommorow - what do you say-just that you want to do the cd diet?
Also how much weight do you lose on average a week (or is that a how long is a piece of string question?) on the sole source programme?
I am 14st 2 and 5 ft 7 so recon i need to lose about 4st! eek.
some amazing stories, congrats. Hopefully i may join you, if you don't mind that is!

Hello vtmil and welcome aboard!
Your BMI is 31 so you don't need a form signed by your GP - unless you have a major medical condition?
For a BMI of 25 you would need to weigh 160 - so not as much to lose as you thought! About 32 pounds or maybe a little more if you wanted to.
Usually on Sole Source or 790 you will lose 4lbs per week. Obviously more in the first week - anything from 8-18 pounds in Week 1.
Good luck!0 -
Also Vtmil, after week 2 you are allowed Coke Zero- only one a day mind you, but it is allowed. I havent really bothered with it ( you cant get it as many places as I thought, plus once you start glugging the water, its amazing how synthetic Coke tasted ( blurgh)
