I bet chocolate orange would be brill in a mousse.

IM a bit tight to be paying the 6.50 for the mousse mix lol
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • The mousse mix is £3!! That is for 10 servings.

It is worth it - the shakes made into mousse are lovely. I make mine with slightly more water than Cambridge suggest and so it isn't quite as stiff.

I might buy one next week, but im up for a major expensive one as my cdc is on holiday, then I go! So i could be looking at buying like 3 weeks worth all in one hit.

  • Well I managed to go out on a date last night and not blow the diet!

I ordered a Prawn Cocktail starter without the sauce and had that!

So the food was good and so was the date! And only drank fizzy water too! Was really good!

    Well done C&Q!!

Did you mention the diet at all, or did you just play it cool

I am really fancying going out for food, but I cant think of where we can go where I can stick to the diet. I dont like prawns unless they are deep fried in filo- or on sesame prawn toast! So I wont be able to have them LOL

In any case, Im still feeling good. Did buy some size 12 trousers this morning- dont quite fit yet, but im sure they will by holiday time!

  • The man I went on the date with has been a friend for a long time. It has now changed direction!

He knew me long before CD. He has known all about CD all the way along, etc. So there was no problem last night at all!

  • Hi all

I tried cd 20 years ago and did well, and have decided to give it another go after reading your inspiring stories!!

I am meeting my local counsellor tomorrow and was wondering what shakes you think are the best, and would I be advised to include a soup each day for variety, and if so what kind??

    Many thanks

    Sue

People have such individual tastes when it comes to the shakes and soups. It's really best to get one of each one then decide for yourself.

    Very best of luck Sue!

I did read about someone whom had the Chocolate shakes only for over a year!!! Most of us cannot do that, we need variety. I like to have a soup and two shakes myself.
For the first two weeks you cannot have the mousse-mix, the CD water flavourings, the bars or Coke Zero but once you are in Week 3 you can have a little more variety if you wish. Some folks have one shake, one soup and one bar per day.
Some folks like all of the soups and shakes - like me - or some really hate a lot of them.

You could get one of each of them and see how you go!

Hope all goes well for you.
