Hi Penny
Congrats on your success so far!
Must admit I'm generally pretty chirpy when the diet is going well so can't help too much with that.
I do like to have some savoury and some sweet so ordering the soups was a good move. It's fine to add pepper but definitely not salt. Added salt leads to fluid retention and slows your weightloss. I don't add anything they are fine to me as they are.
I didn't get back on track yet today!:o
But I haven't been bad and haven't been hungry. Boredom has been my problem and my son has been wanting to cook/bake all week. I'm looking forward to getting back to normal next week when they are back to school. Wow .. CnQ really is an inspiration to us poor old 'fallen' ones!!! But I'm sure all 3 of us can get it back together this week and show CnQ what we're made of (less than last week hopefully
)
Today is going well - drank lots of water - had a nice hot chocolate and mint for breakfast and a chocolate 'brick' for lunch - just need to keep myself busy this evening and enjoy my soup in a bit! OH has just revealed he has invited his boss to stay over on Friday night after a work 'do' so that should keep me busy for the rest of the week, getting the house tidy enough not to be embarrassed!
Good luck everyone!!!0 -
Oh, and PennyPincher - I was a bit ratty last week, but I think that was more because I was annoyed with myself for falling off the waggon rather than the effect of CD itself. I'm definitely finding it easier to cope by not allowing myself to sit and think about food - I've given up telly and have read a couple of books and had a good sort out of some cupboards (wish I hadn't turfed out all all the junk now I have to hide it away again if we are having a guest on Friday!!!!!). On my worst evening I just went to bed .. it was about 7.30 and it mean't I woke up at 5am the next morning .. they all thought I'd gone mad at work when I got there at 6.30 .. I was even queuing to get in the work carpark before it opened!!!!0

I must admit , I felt prettyy shocking today, that must be all them carbs getting back out of my system! Will not be making that mistake again.
Done about 3ls of water so far, and im still on AAM , and cos I feel so full im going to just have cottage cheese and a bit of grilled courgettes ( believe me, these are great, just sliced thinly or cut into chip shapes, laid in the hot griddle pan for a few mins- YUM)
Ill have a bar later on.
Looks like an earlyish night, although, dare I watch - the resturaunt on bbc2 in a sec! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
That's the problem if you binge on carbs - you have to go through the carb detox all over again! It really isn't worth it!
I haven't cheated - not once - in five weeks. I want to lose the weight more than I want to cheat, I suppose. I haven't normally been this good on a diet!!0 -
I think the thing is Im only a few pounds away from target now - I dont know, i dont really know what my target is, looks like its 9stone 9.
Im feeling alright now, so wont be binging - I just want my totm to come and go, as I know for a fact a lot of this extra weight is water retention, im still drinking 5-7 litres a day but only going for a couple of weesI know once im on, things will look much slimmer.
Ive avoided the chicken in AAM last night, and went for C cheese instead certainly makes me feel a bit lighter, and its cheaper too
I was wondering, as I saw on minimins yesterday that theres a differentiation in price. theres an rrp then theres a bit your CDC adds on . What do you guys spend per shake/ bar/ soup/ mix amouse etc?
I bet im paying a premium being london and all, but wouldnt mind just knowing im not being ripped off for sure! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
