It is hard but keep going as I can say from experience it does get easier. I'm on day 14 and apart from one day when I really couldn't face another shake or soup and cried, I have been okay. Only thing is, according to my scales I've only lost 2lbs and I feel disappointed as I really hoped to lose more than that on week 2. Will see how it goes tomorrow at my official weigh in! Keep at it everyone x0

Hi everyone, just wanted to say thanks for keeping me motivated when I was poorly last week and for the tips on not succumbing to cravings C'n'Q it all really helped.
I had my weigh in today and lost another 5lbs this week so thats 23lbs in 3 weeks and I am very chuffed!
Candyd - I haven't weighed myself at home today and did so for the first time yesterday and it said that I hadn't lost a thing so don't be too worried. I now know that there is a 5lb difference on my scales and my counsellors. I think you just need to stick to the same set so you can see what you've actually lost.
I just wonder if anyone could help with getting your head around the weight loss. I know that I've lost weight, have gone a dress size and people have noticed, but in some ways I feel that my stomach is as big as ever. I think its because for years I was in denial about how huge it was and now that I've forced myself to confront it I'm feeling quite disgusted with how far I let myself go rather than focusing on how well I've done! x0 -

Yes that is totally normal, just with focussing in on what we have been ignoring for a long while. It passes, honestly it does.0 -

Well done CnQ - I know this is what you have been wanting for a long time - you deserve it.
I just started today - second attempt - last attempt was during school holidays (bad move) anyhow have had porridge, and just had a vanilla shake - both quite nice. Any recommendations on what soup I should have tonight - tried the golden veg before and wasn't that excited by it!0 -
well done everyone on the losses reported today. I got weighed and have lost 5.25 lbs so that's a stone in two weeks so I am well chuffed and felt motivated enough to buy another week's worth! Was going to try the porridge but backed out, it's nice to hear someone likes it though!0

Welldone on your lose too Candyd. I found the porridge much nicer with some cinnamon on it - but apparently you cant do this for the first two weeks - but it woul be fine for you now - well done again - cant wait to do a post like yours :T:T0

A lot of folks are having three porridge per day!!! Therefore it must taste ok.
I can't have it, more's the pity.

Hi I have read somewhere that it is possible to drink hot stock as an alternative to water or tea and coffee. Could anyone give me any details? I'm still on Sole Source so don't know if that mkes a difference to me having it or not?
Thanks.
Hope everyone is doing well!0
