Cambridge is a complete food replacement. Herbalife is a little more like slimfast. You have 2 shakes a day which you make up with milk or juice. I think you have to take extra vitamins. You also have to have an extra healthy meal. There's other products I think...a green tea, bars etc.

It's much more complex than slimfast, with a counsellor, and targets for other things like skin, hair health etc.

Herbalife has been going for years and seems to be more popular elsewhere.

So, not the same sort of diet as Cambridge. Hope that helps.

Hi Everyone, hope all are well. I had my week 4 weigh in today and not great as I had put on 3/4 lb. It is the time of the month and to avoid eating sweets and rubbish yesterday, I ate some roast pork and veg minus potatoes which killed the urge. I amd back on the straight and narrow of ss again but have a friend's 50th birthday celebration meal on Thursday which is going to halt things again. I'm finding it hard again but hope to get back into the groove asap as I want to build on the 18 lbs lost last month! How does everyone else cope with TOTM?
  • Drink plenty of hot redbush tea and keep my mind occupied so that I don't think about cakes/chocolate/food in general.
  • I have just read through all of this thread and am so pleased that I did!
My friend lost 6 stone through the Cambridge diet , she has not put any weight back on in the last 2 years which is amazing.
I had a consultation for a gastric band last week but feel I need to have one last shot at losing weight through dieting and actually keeping it off! I have lost weight before with diets but always have a problem when I start eating normally again.
I have just left a message with my local counseller and can't wait to start the Cambridge diet.
    You guys are an inspiration!

Very best of luck Becky. You might find that now there's an option there for GB, you'll manage the diet easier than if you felt it was something you had to do. Less pressure and all that:T
