I am seeing my local counseller next Wednesday evening and I'm really excited now!
Is there anything I can do in preparation before next week?
I am going to increase my water intake but am wondering if there is anything else I should be doing?

Yes, cut down on the carbs and any junk food, if you eat any that is, (that's what I did!) Good luck with your journey, I'm sure you'll lose loads of weight, it's a great diet :T
  • I started this morning, and i'm starving.

Keep drinking loads of water, you'll feel better soon!!!

Thanks, yeah I will cut carbs out completely for the next week. I have got a really bad cold and fever at the moment and really don't feel like eating anyway so will be fine!
  • Anyone here hoping to go to the Cambridge Conference on 6th December?

Hi,C&Q excuse my ignorance but where is the Cambridge conference being held and where can I find more details please? The photos are fantastic by the way……………….I bet folk don’t recognise you!!

Becky2011 for me it’s about having a positive mental attitude I’ve lost a stone in a month. I know it’s not a great amount but during that time I have had a few off days but I just start again the next day. One week I only lost a pound but despite everything I have never gained – if I can do it I’m sure you’ll be fine. Wishing you lots of luck with small steps you’ll reach your goal.

    Thank you!

The Cambridge Conference is at the Savill Court Hotel, Windsor this year

Your CDC will have the details. I do know that the hotel is fully booked but you would probably still be able to go to the day event which is £25. The day and evening gala dinner is £55.

Thanks for that. I don’t think I will be going it’s a bit too far away for me and then leading up to Christmas……….I’m skint!!

  • Hi,

Just wondering if I could join the thread. Well done to all those who have lost so much weight. Cute you look great!

I've been doing CD for months now and have lost 3 stone but I have come to a standstill and have been losing and regaining the same few pounds for ages. My counsellor is due any minute and I'm still the same as last week but definitely need some inspiration to give it a really good go and lose this last stone or so.

You have hit a plateau. With a true plateau you neither lose weight nor inches - went through this myself a few weeks back.

Sometimes a change in Plan works. So going to SS+ instead of SS, or SS+ to 810 for a couple of weeks - just to shake up your metabolism.

    Hope all goes well
  • Thanks Cute, I must admit I haven't been following the plan properly recently as obviously it is a very limiting kind of diet and I'd have a day off then I'd have 2 days off and so on and now it's got really hard. Really after I'd lost the weight I felt a bit more like going out and socialising which we all know brings many temptations!

I need to really get back into it now as although I'm glad I've kept the weight off - I'm causing it to be very long and drawn out with my messing about. I've promised myself I'm going to do SS to the letter this week as if I get a good loss I'll drop down another stone barrier (iyswim) and that would give me a real boost to keep going to goal.

I'm hoping posting on here will help me keep on the straight and narrow!
  • Hi Everyone, Great photos CnQ you look sensational!

I've lost another 5lbs this week, so thats 33 lbs so far and I'm really excited. The only thing I'm worried about is that I don't seem to be losing anything from my face. I've always carried my weight on my tummy and face and although I've dropped 2 dress sizes nothing seems to be shifting from my double chin. Anyone have any tips?
