Well done on the loss!
Yes sparkling water is fine.
Diet pop is made with citric acid so will knock you out of ketosis
No have had no slip-ups at all. I stick to the diet without cheating!
I had six weeks of being off-plan when I was on holiday but that was deliberate and I neither gained nor lost on those weeks.
I worked out that I had 58 weeks on plan to lose 12 stones in total.
Hope you have a great second week!0 -
i have heard bits and pieces about this diet from the internet and from friends who know of people doing it...
would anyone be able to give me a bit more information about where you buy the products etc
thanks0 -

Thanks Cute 'n' Quirky, your loss and determination is really inspiring, I have 5 stone to lose and feel as I am getting in to the diet a bit more mentally and not having those overwhelming cravings for food as much.
I have seen some 'receipes' for the shake mixes for muffins etc, do you know if there worth trying? I don't want to waste a shake if they taste horrible!
I have heard that Coke Zero doesn't contain citric acid - does that mean its allowed?0 -
No, since February Coke Zero isn't allowed either as it can make you very hungry - it did with me. It really is best not to have it.
I made the chocolate fudge which is yummy - like a bowl of hot chocolate custard. Tried a cookie once and it was nice. Most folks like the crisps. The muffins are a bit of a disaster apparently0 -
Hi everyone, I’m now 3 months post surgery so I’m back!!
Although I’m still in size 18’s some had become a bit snug around the waist over the months as my tummy is still quite bloated.
So I was amazed when I was weighed yesterday and I have only gained 3lb over 3 months!!
I haven’t been able to go to the gym at all and I have been eating what I have wanted. Having said that I do eat a healthy diet just a lot of it – lol!!
I start tomorrow so I’ve been reducing my carb intake and increasing my water over the past few days. I’m looking forward to trying the porridge.

Very well done Aislinn! You must have been making good food choices.
Hope your restart goes well for you x0 -
Day two…………. Just had toffee and walnut shake for breakfast and savoured every mouthful. I’m decorating the bedroom today which will hopefully take my mind off food.
Had a blip yesterday, I had the shakes (not the food one – lol!!) and began to feel a bit spacey by mid afternoon. I also developed an overwhelming urge to eat nuts……………..so I did………. I had a small bag and felt loads better and shamefully not as guilty as I think I should have.
Anyway today’s another day.
Thanks for your comment C&Q you are looking fab you must be so pleased with yourself.

Hopefully the nuts won't have caused much damage
Cold cold day here again today
I have been having all my shakes hot for a couple of weeks now - including the strawberry and the fruits of the forest0 -
Hey everyone. Just saw this thread and decided to sign up! I started the diet yesterday and so far so good, although I feel really hungry now! My counsellor said it was okay to have milk in my coffees but from reading this, it seems some may not advise this? I'd be grateful if anyone has anyinfo or comments about this. Thanks0
