  • As of yesterday went back onto 790 (without the milk allowance) or really 810 without the milk allowance.

I just cannot do SS in this freezing cold weather. Winter has come !

    99 days to Christmas!

The Christmas parties beckon and so do the sassy skimpy dresses

    We CAN do this!

omg why do i want to cheat when ive done so well....i think its boredom as well.

  • Don't stray!!

The temptation after the first week's good losses are to cheat - then you will feel awful.

Keep yourself occupied, read a book, have a bath, etc.

After a couple of weeks the Cambridge diet becomes a way of life and you will feel that you don't want to stray.

or you could find that doing SS+ with a small meal to look forward to every day would help?

  • Phew....... Have spent the last 2 days reading most of this thread.

Hello, My name is Nikki and I'm an overeater! :o

I stopped smoking in May 2007 and since then have managed to gain almost 4 stones. I have decided enough is enough and want to do the CD.

Can anyone help me with a few questions?

I have had a look on the CD site for a CDC in my area and 4 cover it. Is their a way of finding out how long each CDC has been in service and how successful the are? Having 4 to choose from it would be nice to go for the best.

Also I quite like a glass of wine of an evening and a coffee of a morning. When can you next have one of those once you start this diet?

Well done all who have lost so much:beer:

  • Hello and Welcome!

The best thing to do re CDC's is to ring them all and see whom you gel with.

It isn't really a case of one being more successful than the other - you need someone you can get on with. Or you could go to the official Cambridge Forum www.cambridgedieters.com and ask on there if they can recommend a CDC in your own area. That usually works a treat

Coffee is allowed all the way through - without milk on SS or with milk on SS+ with milk or the 810 plan.

Alcohol is forbidden on all of the Cambridge plans - but isn't it worth the sacrifice to lose the weight?

Cambridge really is fabulous. I have lost almost 12 stones in just over a year with 24lbs to go to goal. It is well worth the effort.

What have you got to lose except weight? Do give it a go

I only did SS for the first 8 weeks.

I then went onto 790 as SS+ hadn't been invented until Feb this year

The losses are the same anyway.

I cannot SS in cold weather - that is my problem!
