Hi
I think your counsellor would contact your GP to inform them you are on a VLCD. They now have to do this by law, this doesnt mean they are asking for their permission, just informing them. If your BMI is over 40 I think they have to ask their permission
Thanks

Hi all
Its been 2 months since I finished Cambridge and i've lost a few more pounds since then but not put any on! yippee!! (lost 5 stone in total)
I've found maintenance surprisingly easy. Before CD it would be no breakfast then chocolate then big lunch then big dinner. Now its yoghurt and fruit for breakfast (without fail) then light lunch then nice sized dinner (or vice versa if i'm going out for lunch).
A group of girls from work were discussing going to weight watchers together today and i felt a bit jealous that i couldnt join in!!
As for excess skin, i have a little on my tummy or that could be because i'm just not a very toned person but its a small price to pay for getting rid of the weight.
Hope everyones doing okay - keep sipping those shakes!

No lumps/bumps/stretch marks or saggy skin here :j
None at all
Not a problem
Look after your skin whilst dieting - Cambridge or otherwise - use bodyfirming lotion, go swimming, do toning exercises and/or pilates.0 -

For anyone not on medication or below a BMI of 40 the CDC will inform the GP that you are on SS
For a BMI over 40 the GP has to sign the form but not to give permission as such, more so that he is aware that you are doing the diet. This is really important for certain medications or medical conditions.

Aha, CnQ, it's cause I wan't here
Got back from my camp yesterday, but internet in Hull was down last night, hmph.
I've lost 3 lbs
And I'm going back down to 810 tomorrow, because I can't stick to 10000 -
When I have done the 1000 plan - before going on holiday in April - I found the quantity of food to be too much.
Well done on the 3lbs loss!
I restarted on SS on Friday as part of my Final Countdown to goal
So far so good

That's really cute
Oooh, you've only got just over 2 stones to go!
The easy part is nearly over!
I need a big kick up the bum, I've been snacking on bread badly recently.
I think I'm going to finish off the loaf and tell my mum not to get any more!
I'm sticking on 1000 for the last stone ish, then if I'm not a size 8 by 9 stone then I'll just eat healthily until I am an 8.
Going to get the doctor to refer me to a dietician at some point soon too.0 -
Why do you want a dietician?0
