    Right here goes

i sat and read all of the pages on here last night, as a friend of mine started the diet a few weeks ago

    she has lost 19lb

then she went on holiday, and she put 4lb on.

I go away 4 weeks tomorrow

have i left it to late to start the diet.

And would i need to see a consultant or could my friend buy me the soups and shakes, when she goes and gets hers

If you want you can carry on with the diet on holiday.

If not then you shouldn't start Sole Source really, as you'll have have to work up the plans too quickly.

Yes, you have to see the counsellor, its important he/she asks some questions about your medical history, and weighs you/measure you etc.

Most CDCs will come to you (sometimes for a delivery fee) if it's a problem.

CnQ - I think I've just been adjusting to only having 2 shakes as I've been better today.
Spoken to someone else who's just moved to 1000 and she's having the same issues, so at least I'm not alone :o

It's the munchies which annoys me, because they were pretty much under control on SS-810 and they're getting pretty bad sometimes!

It's been breakfast at 8ish, lunch at 1ish, dinner at 6-7ish.
I'd consider that fairly normal spacings.

I'm going back on the coffee tomorrow to see if it's that which makes me feel bad.

i spoke to a leader today, and i'm of to see her on monday, she said i should be fine on the diet for 3 weeks,

then go away and introduce protein in my food

then go back on the diet when i come back of holiday
  • Hope all goes well for you

Bear in mind that you CANNOT drink alcohol unless you have been eating carbs for a day or so, or it can be dangerous!
The best idea is to stick to one of the plans (be it Sole Source, or SS+, or 810 etc) to the letter - not just 'adding a bit of protein'.

    Good luck! :)

    Hi

my plan was to do sole source for 3 weeks,

starting this monday up to monday 8th september

which would give me 4 days before i go away, so i was going to speak to the lady and see what she advises.

oh poo i'm in a right mess now aren't i
  • You could do SS to 8th September then go to 810 so that you can have alcohol, that shouldn't be a problem.

Then go back onto SS when you come back home
  • Hey everyone!

I found a counsellor and i'm on my first week of CD. I'm feeling ok, a little tired but quite positive as my goal is to loose 2 stone which i didnt think was achievable but my cousellor said that should take 2 months or so. I dont feel hungry now - i'm on day 4. Day 1 & 2 were hard and i still think 'that looks nice' when i see a pizza hut advert on tv, but i havent eaten anything so far, just shakes. The shakes are really jummy but i'm looking forward to next week when i can have 1 bar a day cos i miss chewing. I also took a photo of me as a 'before' shot which i'll put on my fridge, and spur me on for my 'after' shot when i reach my goal!!!! Hope everyone else is going ok. :-)

  • Have been very down the last few days so decided I needed to do something to cheer myself up.

Have been sort of slow on the weight loss front in the last couple of weeks too - not really but it just seems that way, if you know what I mean.

One section of my wardrobe has never been touched since I started my Cambridge journey so decided to tackle that.

    Woweee!!!!

Got loads of stuff for the charity shop. Found a blue suit I have no recollection of buying  It fits me now so that is ok - but where on earth did I buy it?? When????? No idea!!!!

Found a few white blouses - for under suits - so they can stay - the rest is out!

Go and do it for yourself - it is very very motivating to see how far you have come on your journey :)
