    Without determination:

You'll stick to it until something better comes along.
You'll manage it only when you feel like doing it
You'll blame circumstances for it failing (not saying you do mind you!)
You'll give up the moment you face a challenge

    With determination:

You'll stick with it no matter what
You'll do it whether you want to or not
You'll keep going despite the setbacks and challenges it presents.

Well done both C&Q and Jennikay.

Just wanted to pop in and say that after losing 4.5 stone, i've reached my target and then some!

My OH, whose support has wavered occasionally whilst i was on the diet, has just bought me a Wii fit, so all is forgiven. I've never exercised before so it is perfect for me. It really hit me how much i've lost when the wii fit told me I was an ideal weight! Yippee!!

I shall continue to hang around here whilst I am trying to maintain. Wishing you all well on your journeys.

Cute N Quirky, not long till you join me on maintenance. Keep up the good work.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

    Well done on reaching target!!

Oh no 'Maintenance'!! That opens a whole new set of problems with me with being wheat-intolerant.
Have managed to avoid wheat whilst being on CD - moving up the plans allows me to choose too much. Still, will have to learn to live with it, like everyone else with any food intolerance

Hope all goes well for you x

CnQ - there's a huge range of wheat free products now, that didn't exist a few years back. In my local Sainsbury's there about half an aisle devoted to wheat/gluten free bread, pasta, chocolate, biscuits, lots of stuff!

So you shouldn't have many problems :)
