    Thanks for that.
I would really be ‘forcing’ another shake down tonight on top of the fluids I have to drink.

I feel that eating when not hungry is not the way to go for me – that’s what got me here in the first place - lol!

Nah, we get overweight because we eat more than our bodies need. The beauty of ketosis is that you don't feel so hungry, but you still have to have the food.
I am not concerned about the missed nutrient as I feel that I have covered that with vitamin and mineral tabs.

But what about calories (vital), protein, fats, carbohydrates. You wont get them in a pill.
I have felt great on both days without any wooziness or headaches.

That's good, but remember that it isn't safe to go into starvation mode, which is what will happen if you miss out on these 'meals'. It can also adversely effect your weightloss and you might find you don't lose as much.

maybe I should just keep it simple and stick to the 3 shakes a day thingy – lol!! x

I would advise that :D I find that people who start tweaking the regime, tend to fail at it. Stick to the book and you won't go far wrong.;) Best of luck :)

Managed the 3 shake today by having the 3rd one in two halves and watering it down more than usual so that it was more like a drink than a shake.

Thanks again for all the advice – I’m useless with diets and eating plans. x

That word glug is so expressive and it just took me right back to my first week – eek!!
At least having done it before you know that it does get easier. Me and my water bottle are never parted now.

    Keep going x

    Yay!

I went to my CDC today and I'm starting the diet tomorrow in time for ketosis to start by Monday (I'm back at school and have an exam.)

    Wish me luck :D

I can't wait to fit into size 10 jeans again!
    I'm quite excitable :)
Does anyone know (girls?) how often you drop a dress size?

    Jenni x

Edit: does anyone know if I can mix a shake and keep it in a bottle for a few hours? On the packet it says to mix and drink it within 15 minutes.

    Well done on starting!

No we cannot mix a shake and keep it more than 15 minutes otherwise we lose the nutrients.

The way round this is to have the tetras - readymades - which come in chocolate or banana

The dress size issue depends on how much you have to lose and how fast the pounds fall off.

Usually we would say every stone, stone and a half for each size.

However, when we discussed this on the CD Forum we found that the larger sized clothes have more inches between them than the smaller-sized clothes so that the drop from 14 to 12 to 10 was much faster than from a 26 to 24 to 22, for example.

    Hope all goes well x
