Good luck linznel. CnQ is so right... My first few days (I did not reduce the carbs before I started) was not nice, I had an awful headache, and to be honest I have always managed to drink between 1 - 2 litres of water a day for some time now, so its been ages since I last had a headache generally. Day 4 today, no cheating at all and I feel better today.

I have treated myself to so nice fizzy water for the evenings, it really fills you up and tastes just a little more exciting even thought its not flavoured.

Not sure how it works but would you like to be buddies?

No we can't, sorry, as they can knock us out of ketosis

Try the CD water flavouring in fizzy water - it is yummy

I read somewhere that some people were having a reduced sodium boullion as a savoury drink. Sounded really nice. I bet we are not really allowed it are we? Im sure I would have read about it before if we were allowed.

CnQ, Thanks for the recipe sheet on Page 87, its amazing what you can do with these drinks, going to try and hold off until I really need something off the list though.

Looking forward to my first weigh in on Friday morning.

CD make a savoury drink which I don't care for.

I have the Marigold Bouillon when it is cold weather with no problems. It is a touch higher in salt than the CD savoury drink, though. It is about £1.48 in Tesco and the pot lasts ages

Just 1 tspn per day allowed of either.

when i did cd last year you could have perfectly clear in strawberry n kiwi flavour. In general, it musnt have any citric acid in it.

Had a very busy day today so only had time for half a soup at lunch. Used the other half to make 'crisps' at tea time and had them with another cup of soup......mmmm....and all within my 3 shakes in a day!!

What happens to the shakes if you don't drink it once mixed within 15 mins?

They start to lose some of their nutritional content. Although it is OK to occasionally leave them a bit longer you should not make them up in advance.
