had my weigh in today, I have lost a stone in 3 weeks and 1 inch off m bust, 1 inch off my waist, 3 inches off my hips and 1/2 inch off my upper arm and thigh, a total of 6 inches, I feel really good even though I have fallen off the wagon massively, I had 4 days eating last weekend as I went to my mums and then this weekend I ate lots of rubbish so out of the 3 weeks I have been on CD I have only actually done 15 days of it properly, I am still very pleased with how much weight I have lost but I am more happy with the inch loss, it really has spurred me on not to fall off the wagon at the weekends

Hi Everyone, I am a newbie to Forums (my first time ever so hope i've done this OK). I started the Cambridge diet on Saturday. I have never done the cambridge before, i've done all the others and must say I had great success with WW 6 years ago, got to 10st 13lbs and managed to maintain (within 4lbs) for 2 years then various different hormone tabs and stuff sent my weight to new heights (12st 11lbs, my heavest ever)... A friend has just been on CD for past 7 weeks and she looks great so here goes. I am off to Spain for two weeks on 4th July and dont want to lay on the beach wishing I had done something about myself again (as I have done in the last few years). I want to be wearing my favourite cossy (a Next size 12 sale bargain I have not been able to get into since I cant remember when) and feeling good.

I just wanted to say really well done to all of you. I have been reading through this forum for the last two days and the support and motivation you have all given me is amazing, so thank you all for that. If I can help anyone else on my journey that would be great.

Look forward to chatting with you all.
    DebC x

Hello, I am also a new girl to CD and the forum. I have been reading through all over the weekend and you have all totally convinced me it's the thing to do. When I told my husband he wanted to do it too. So he has called a CDC and we have an appointment for Wednesday night (roll on.)
Do any of you have any tips for preparation prior to us starting?
    look forward to chattin

Well done on making the best decision you will ever make.

For starting on Thursday cut back on your carbs - everything - to help with the process. It really does help stop carb-withdrawal problems in the first few days of Sole Source or Sole Source Plus

Increase your water intake to 2.25L or more per day. I have 5L per day with no trouble at all. It will get you ready for CD.

Hope all goes well for you both

Hi all to the two of you! I'm on day 3. I'm having veg soup for my brekkie but that's ok! I haven't really liked any of the drinks so I'm going to stick with the soups. Still struggling to get all of my water intake, any tips?

The good news is I have lost 4lbs!
