How is everyone getting along?0

Hi cnq and everyone else
I am on day 3 now, I feel a bit tired today, but I was awake early. dh & I both have sore throats, andwhen I woke up at 4.30 for a pee, I couldn't get back to sleep, not only with the sore throat, but dh was snoring. dh is playing golf and ds15 is out, but ds12 is with me today. He is being really great today. He decided to have soup for lunch, so that we could sit and eat together. I am feeling like I would like to munch something, but even already I can feel a difference in my body and how tight my clothes are. At £48 a week (I am 5ft 8) I can't afford to mess this up for a biscuit, a lump of cheese or even a swig of diet coke.
I had the vanilla shake this morning, and I put some in a cup of coffee. I think vanilla is my fav flavour so far - either that or I have just got better at mixing them.
Thanks for the info on the tom soup. On Thurs I went into the kitchen at work, mixed up the powder with some cold water, left it for a minute, then added water from the boiler. I then added some more cold water so that it was at drinkable temperature and swigged it down. On Fri, I made it up in a bowl, and had it at my desk.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0 -
No doubt you will be tired today Sue - Day 4 is notoriously difficult for everyone.
You should be in ketosis very very soon then it all becomes so much easier.
Hope all goes well for you0 -
Got an appointment with a counsellor at 2pm this afternoon.
Can't wait!
Been reading the success stories and know that I am in the right mindset to shift this flab! Currently 18 stone and practically a recluse.. Going to Italy in September so that is my aim... if I could lose 5 stone in the 5 months I'd not be the fattest mum on the beach, would I?
Wish me luck you lot. Cute and Quirky, you're my inspiration!!0 -
Hi Sally
Thanks!
I am going to Malta tomorrow and won't be back until 22nd April but I want to see some good losses going on here!
Am on the 1000 plan now to see me through the holiday - so that I can have fruit etc whilst I am away
Hope all goes well.0 -

WW, SW, Atkins all take a lot of money for proteins and fruit/veg.
As diets go paying £35 per week for Cambridge is relatively inexpensive.
Also, when you consider, it is not forever.
My journey has been longer since I had a lot of weight to lose but that is just one of those things.
LL is currently £70 per week. Lipotrim is about the same as Cambridge.
We are paying for research, expertise and a scientifically controlled diet which has been proven for over 20 years to work and to keep a body healthy along the way. I know that I am healthy - my monthly blood tests prove that I am healthy.
I am happy with the decision I made to take the Cambridge journey and I would recommend the diet to anyone
Cambridge is a fabulous plan - thank you Dr Alan Howard
I am not disputing that you are paying for a diet. However, I disagree with your previous post saying that people shopping on small budgets are living off 'high carb junk'. That is a very predjudiced thing to say. Then again I could always say that meal replacement diets are great for people who don't have the intelligence to realise that high calorie foods, eaten too often, will make you fat.0 -
Have a good time cnq.
See you in a couple of weeks.
My scales, clothes and mirror are all saying that my first week should be a really good weight loss. Weigh in Wed night. I am really looking forward to it.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0 -
