Wow, that's fantastic! Well done both of you!!
Unfortunately my scales are broken so I have no idea how much weight I've lost already, but I've got my first meeting with the new cdc on thursday, so stay tuned for an update in about 10 days.....aargh, it's so long to wait!Lead me not into temptation - I can find it perfectly well all by myself0 -
I'm not going to stop dieting , but I am going to have to stop CD.
I was looking at my finances, trying to work out why my money didnt seem to be going as far, and its the CD.
I'm 5'11 so am on on 4 packs a day, well 3 packs and a bar. This costs roughly £46 a week, I'm in my 4th week so thats nearly £200 spent on this diet in a month. I just cant afford that, thats practically all the money I have left over each month once bills have been paid, leaving me with no money to put aside.
If everything went to plan, I can expect to be on the diet till the end of May start of June, I'm sorry but, thats about £600! That would pay off my last credit card.
I'm just going to have to find a less expensive way of getting to my goal .Smile. Its the second best thing you can do with your lips....0 -

To be truthful WW or SW would cost you a lot more in fresh fruit and vegetables
You could switch to a plan with food which might make it slightly cheaper.
Cambridge is worth that extra sacrifice just to get the weight off.
Hope all goes well for you anyway

Hi everyone,
There was a big advert in my local paper at the weekend for Lighter life, so I researched it, and had a look on here. This is where I found out about the Cambridge Diet (and it being cheaper!) I read through a lot of the pages on here and looked on the CD website. Obviously they make it look great, but I was very impressed by what I have read on here. I had a chat with dh last night, as it will affect him, and took the plunge and rang a CDC last night. I looked at the pictures of the one's around here, and picked the one I liked the look of. She asked me a lot of questions, and I am meeting her on Thursday night.
I am really looking forward to it. Although the thought of losing weight is scary.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0 -
Well done Sue!
It is the best decision you could ever have made.
LL and CD are made at the same factory, apparently, but the folks who move from LL to CD say that our products taste a lot better. Also CD is half the price!
I love the Cambridge diet - hope all goes well for you0 -
Hi Guys
Totally new to the site and have just started my CD- day two!!
Yesterday was hard but I have got a banging headache today- any advise?
Well done to everyone this is working for- hopefully the results will start showing for me very soon. xx:rolleyes:0 -
Hi Salina
Take some paracetamol and increase your water intake. The headache will go. It is caused by the carb-withdrawal and your body going through a detoxing
All will be well!0 -
Thanks for your advice- feeling much better today- full of energy!! lol :@)0

Crikey, where do you do your shopping? A weeks shopping for me and hubby is in the £20-30 (so £10-15 for me), and we have veg with every meal, well I used to.
I admit, CD is good for weight loss once you get used to it, but it is very expensive, I may well shift my 28lb but I'll be a thin person in debt. I'm going to stick to 600 cals a day (3 x 200) , drink plenty of water, and do some exercise.Smile. Its the second best thing you can do with your lips....0
