Thank you, struggling a bit and im sooooooooo hungry but i suppose it will be worth it in the end!! Think i love my food too much! Lol :rotfl:
I love food too but my love of food was disfiguring me. It made me look older, it made me slower, unhealthy & miserable. It also reduced my confidence as I always felt like a frump whereas now I sometimes still feel a bit frumpy but if I make an effort I can look hot!!!
It is worth it in the end, most definitely. So remember no-one is saying that you will never eat again, you can still love your food but hopefully after doing CD you will be able to apply the same self control as you are using to SS to restrict your portion sizes & make wiser decisions about what you eat. Then you can resume your love affair with food but be the one in control. Keep it up it you can do it!0 -
Hi
Just to let you know ive lost 14lbs now in 4 wks im pleased with this although i know i could have done better but ive had a few blips along the way
Way to go girl! You're bang on target, 14lbs per month is perfect CD!! & Blips are what it says on the tin, there to be got over. It would be nice if it was easy but when you have the hard times it makes every pound lost feel more of an achievement. Well done, keep up the good work!0 -
Well, after my bad over the easter wk end I had only lost 2lb at weigh in last night and half an inch off each measurement. Still, onwards and upwards.0

Hope you are all going to be good CD angels today0

At the moment i weigh 12.5 stones and im 5"8 tall. i had a baby 2 years ago and i really want to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 9.5 or 10 stone. do you know if cd will be suitable for me?0

Yes CD would be really suitable for you.
Go to the Cambridge website and have a look to see where your local counsellors are - www.cambridgedieters.com and take it from there0 -

Hi
At your height and weight you would not be allowed to do the Sole Source Programme (packs only). The appropriate programme for someone with your BMI would be the 810 programme.
The losses on this programme are excellent.
Your counsellor will discuss this with you when you find one.
If you cannot find one on the CD webpage try ringing 0800 161412 and they should be able to find a counsellor for you, not all counsellors are listed on the webpage.

hi everyone
hope you don't mind me joining in on this thread - I've just started the diet again for the 2nd time, lost lots of weight before but didn't follow the maintenance so ended up putting some back on. Started again a few days ago, and am now well and truely into ketosis :j
Anyway, I haven't yet ploughed through all the pages here, so apologies if this has been suggested before, but I thought I'd share with you all my favourite dessert.
Make a vanilla shake into a mousse (only when your cdc says you can do the mousse thing), and add a bit of the orange water flavouring thing. Freeze it until it turns into icecream - smells pretty close to cheesecake and tastes fab! You might need to play around with the quantity of flavouring to get it just right, but I love it, and it really does hit the spot when I want a 'dessert' instead of just another shake.Lead me not into temptation - I can find it perfectly well all by myself0 -
Sounds great! Thanks!0
