Thanks Annie....it certainly does help! I did LL with my sister a few years ago, it was great to have someone to share it with...

Plus...I'm really competitive so it'll spur me on to lose more each week!

On to day 2 now...felt really ropey last night, I just keep telling myself it gets easier!!!!

i have just had a cholecystectomy so i am waiting till weekend till i can get started agin. My husband and i started dieting (me cd and him calorie control) on Jan 7. I lost 4 stone and he lost nearly 3. It was great doing it together.
Do you go on www.minimins.com The girls there are sooooooooooooooo supportive. It really made a difference for me having them there every day.

    Hi!

As I posted a few days ago, I'm a CD newbie, currently on Day 7. I've found the last week fairly easy, have no desire to eat, but am feeling a little weak towards the end of the day, and am finding it difficult to have the energy to exercise, which of course is to be expected.

I have been having 3 shakes a day, with a 4th on the days when I exercise, but only found out last night that I am in fact 5ft 9in, so should theoretically have 4 shakes anyway.

My question is whether I should step up to the 4, as the guidelines state, or continue on 3, adding one when necessary? What do you think? My CDC, though a lovely person, doesn't seem especially knowledgable, so I thought I'd ask you lovely people!! By the way, if it matters, I need to lose at least 4st to get to a healthy BMI.

Thanks very much! (water, that is!)
  • i too am a newbie to the cdiet. day one today infact!my cdc suggested i do not excercise in the first week to allow my body to adjust to the vl calorie intake and to prevent my hunger pangs......

I read that if you exercise already you should be okay, but what you say does make sense!!

Good luck today! I found days 2 and 3 difficult, but once over them, its been ok.

I have just looked at this site, and it's great! There's a forum completely dedicated to CD, with loads of success stories, tips, and support by the bucketload for CD-ers!

    Many thanks for the link:T
