Vez I'm the same, all day long I'm fine, it's when I've got in, cleaned up, had a bath and sit down that I think MMMMMMMMM food!!! Then there's the temptation to pick.

I think the important thing if your affected like that is to keep busy in the evening. I don't really watch tv anymore, I prefer to read magazines or get on the internet on minimins for inspiration. I also like to have a few hours out to have a nice long soak in the bath and have a pamper before having an early night - always makes me feel better!!

  • Well done Cute. I am jealous of your acheivement.

I am classic emotional eater. Can't live with Food nor without it.

Food and I need a separation so I can sort my head out before we reconcile and rebuild our relationship.

Am calling my local CDC tonight. Am so excited. wish me luck!

    Thank you!

Cambridge will definitely help to sort out your emotional links with food.

It is a very cathartic experience doing Sole Source and it makes you realise how totally over-dependent we are on food.

It will help you to sort out the times you turn to food and to analyse the reasons and so stop it from happening.

How much weight are you wanting to lose?

Hope all goes well with the CDC

I knit, do embroidery or go to bed and read a book or listen to my iPod

I do medieval re-enactment , so last week I started a new dress. To keep me occupied I'm not going to use the machine, I'm going to hand sew it all.

Like any crash diet, you`ll lose the weight, and as soon as you start eating "Normally" again, the weight will just come back on, not good for your health, try NOT DIETING ,just eating healthly, and doing exercise, its not about dieting, its about lifestyle change.

Cambridge is most certainly NOT a crash diet in any way at all!

There are hundreds of thousands of people whom have done Cambridge/LL/Lipotrim whom have not regained any weight at all - Louise here being one of them.

Cambridge is fabulous for your health - I have a blood test every four weeks as I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and take toxic medication which has to be monitored. My bloods have remained perfect throughout 8 months of the Cambridge diet. I am fit and healthy and almost 9 stones down in weight.
Both my GP, my Rheumatologist and my two Orthopaedic Surgeons are ecstatic.

There are many people on SW or WW whom have regained their weight.

If someone goes back to the bad eating habits that they had prior to dieting - on any diet - and take in more calories than their body requires - then they will regain the weight. That is just what happens.

Cambridge teaches weight loss and maintenance for life so that the weight is not regained.

How many calories a day are you taking in with the cambridge diet? if its less than what your supposed to have on a healthy eating plan then whether you go back to eating badly,OR healthy,if your getting more calories, then you`ll put on weight.

If you eat the same amount of calories as your BMR plus exercise etc you will maintain your weight, no question about it, that is scientific fact.

Cambridge is 440/600/810/1000/1200 calories dependent on which Plan we do.

What I learnt on weight watchers when I lost 5 st 5 yrs ago was that if I eat less and eat healthily I lose weight. I still put the weight back on. Its just not that simple.

What I have learnt on Cambridge is that I have a problem with food. It is not just about eating less and eating healthily, it is about confronting your relationship with food, learning what your triggers are, realising that you dont need to eat when your low, allowing you to gain control instead of letting food control your life, realising that you are not going to keel over because you havent had chocolate, alcohol, junk food etc, reprogramming your body and mind so that you can maintain your weight in the future etc etc.

This is what cambridge offers. It is one of the most established and well researched diets out there. If life was as easy as eating healthily and exercising, this country wouldnt be facing an obesity crisis.
