I know a girl who does the Cambridge Diet.. She just says it's starvation. I haven't seen a huge deal of weight loss from her - but then she must be a size 12 at a push.
I'm a massive fan of Weight Watchers - I went from 13 stone to 10 stone in about 3 months, if I eat a lot I'll put on weight but I find a quick burst of a month with it and I'm back to normal x0 -
No, Cambridge is not starvation, not at all!
It is a ketogenic diet which means that as soon as ketosis engages, by day 3/4/5 there is no hunger at all.
I am in my 8th month - do you seriously think I would be able to 'starve' myself for this length of time?

Cambridge say the weight loss is 1 stone per calendar month. At a guess you will probably be able to do it in less time than that.
I lost 3 stones in 7 weeks.0 -
Hehe, I'm pretty good at starving myself
Anyway, I was just saying what she'd said. Things like that aren't my cup of tea anyway x0 -

3 stones in 7 weeks!! Fantastic. I am really looking forward to starting now. Have you any tips that you can share with me? I have only heard about diet through a friend of a friend, i havent even found a councellor yet, will probably go to the one that the 'friend' uses."I live my dream today, I lived it yesterday and I'll be living yours tomorrow":smileyhea

The most important thing is to keep your water intake up - over the 2.25L that Cambridge recommend, if possible. I do 4/5L per day.
Don't cheat!! I have had 4 planned meals out in 8 months - one in September, one in December, one in January and one for my birthday last week. That's it. Other than that have had nothing that I am not supposed to have. Mind you I did SS for 8 weeks then the last 6 months have been on 790 - which is one meal per day, so that is probably the difference.
Cambridge is fabulous, no two ways about it0
