I am going really well *touch wood* & I have lost 6lbs this week which is the best Valentine present I could have, though my OH did buy me some beautiful flowers. I have now lost 2 stone 2lbs in 6 weeks & I am really pleased with my progress. CD is the best decision I have made in a very long time so best of luck to anyone starting out. It's grrrrreat!

Thats fantastic, well done you!!! I cant believe how quick the weight is dropping off everyone - better start bikini shopping soon for summer!!! ;)

Saying that i weighed myself this morning, been on 790 since Weds, and my scales are showing a 6lb loss - can that be right??? May be water loss etc but anyway a 6lb loss showing on morning 3 is blooming fantastic, im over the moon, this is the smallest weight i have been now since having my baby in Sept, only a pound and a half to go to get to my pre pregnancy weight!! :D then i just have to shift another stone and i will be at my target!!! So hopefully this wont take too long to shift if i stick to it 110%

Got another question, im sure my CDC said i should drink 4 litres of water a day, she said the book says 2.5 litres but if i can drink around 4 that would be great, so the last 2 days i have drank 4 litres of water, plus the water on top from the shakes, plus the water on top from my black coffees - Is this too much?? I feel fine drinking that amount but dont wanna do myself any harm ya know and not sure if i should cut my plain water intake down?? Any suggestions please...

Thanks and hope everyone has a good day ;)

I wanted some advice. I am thinking of going on this diet and just called one of the councilors up who told me with was £30 for initial appointment and £40 odd weekly supplements.

I’m just not sure if this best one for me I thin it’s mainly all the money i will have to commit to :(
My situation is that I am in last semester of Uni, and male weighting roughly 115kg 5foot 5. I recon I need to loose around 25 kg initially and bit more where possible.
I don’t have enough time to spend at gym and I wont stick I’ve tried it before. As mentioned previously I am strict vegie for past 3 odd years.
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Cambridge is not expensive when you think that it is replacing the food you would normally have to buy!

lol CNQ, i did aswell in the end!!

I had a small peice of chicken (1/2 the allowance) grilled on the good old George Foreman and also 1/2 of the cottage cheese allowance, and 3 small lettuce leaves and it was yum.

What did everyone else have for those who are not on SS?

I had 3 x Quorn Chicken Fillets (half the Quorn allowance) baked in the oven with half the cottage cheese allowance mixed with some Italian Herbs and piled into mushrooms then baked in the oven - yummy!

This is the 790 recipe thread from cambridgedieters.com although be aware that some folks have added things that are not allowed on CD.

Most folks do just as well on 2.25L of water a day.

I did 2.25L per day up until about the end of November then increased it when I got a cold and it has stayed up and I am up to 5L of water per day myself.

Don't go over 6L as it can deplete your body of vital minerals.
