BTW re the plain yoghurt allowance on 790 - I add a small amount of the CD water flavouring to it and mix in well to make a fruity yoghurt.
Or I use it plain as a type of 'sauce' for Quorn, chicken, etc

Hi all,
i have been reading through all of the threads and you all seem to be doing great! My start weight was 17 stone 6lb, i was last weighed on tuesday and so far have lost 13lb, 5ins from my waist, 3ins from my thighs and 2ins from my arm, which is absolutely fantastic, im starting to feel a bit more confident in myself although i am looking forward to the summer when i will feel so much better. I am 22 and my goal weight is 10 stone so from start to finish i need to lose 7st 6lb, so wish me luck everyoneas i said in the title i am in day 17, i am finding it much easier than the first week but must say i do really miss food, so i am looking forward to the add a meal week, although id rather not do it if it would slow my weight loss down alot. I have a couple of questions that i hope you can answer for me:
1. i would like to see how much others lost in their first 2 weeks just out of interest.
2. have any of you done the add a meal week? if so how much weight did you lose that week?
3. I know after being on the diet for a while alot of people have 1 or two meals a week, how long do you need to wait before doing this?

I lost 17lbs my first week and 4lbs for weeks and weeks after that including my aamw.
I went onto 790 with a meal every day from week 9

Morning everyone
Have had a much better week - feeling fine again now after being poorly ill.
Have altered my plan to the 1200 kcal one and feel happier on that so think I am going to stick with that and review the position in a few weeks time. It seems to suit me better.
After having my initial gain of 6lbs when having a week off, I have now lost 5lbs of that so only a pound up so am really pleased.
If I lose 3lbs a week I will be overjoyed and will continue as is. Funnily enough hubby has now gone on SS so we have swopped!

Q1 - See my signature for my losses week on week.
Q2 - Lost 4lbs but I think it kick started my metabolism or something as the following week I lost 6lbs. AAMW is great & hard in equal parts. Lovely eat something 'proper'; (I had quorn sausages, prawns, cottage cheese & tuna over the week for my protein. The sausages, tuna & the prawns are not on the AAM list in my book & I used a drizzle of olive oil too cook my sausages / mushrooms but I figured that as long as it was lean protein & I didn't go over 200 cals a day I'd be ok & I was but I know this may not be the case for everyone). The hard part of AAM is going back to SS, over the week you get used to having a meal and I found the first few days back on SS quite tough mentally, but I got through.
Q3 I think that when I get to within a stone & a half of my target weight (BMI - 23.5) I am going to start work my way up through the eating plans. But I also know that if I get bored with the SS I could do 790 or 810 as it is now and still see consistent results (for inspiration check out C&Q).

Glad to hear that you're better nomealone & congratulations on the 5lbs loss & I hope you're successful on the 1200 plan. I think you're right to make the change as you have to do whatever's going to work best for you!

Well done on your weight loss so far Lisa, you are doing great!!
Cant really answer any of your questions because i only started the CD on Wednesday and not the SS but the 790 plan.
So far im finding it fine, quite strange thinking how much i used to eat and how little i am eating now, makes me wonder why i ate so much food!!
Good luck on your journey anyway and i hope you get the results that you want!!

And me well im on day 4 on the 790 plan, went to the gym last night, usually train upto 5 times a week but havent trained since i started the 790 on Weds as wanted my body to get used to the diet first as didnt wanna all of a sudden be feeling faint or anything at the gym, but i can say it was fine, i split my lunch shake and had half of that before i went so i wasnt training on an empty stomach and then my evening shake i had when i got home oh and i had my dinner at 5pm but didnt train until 8pm so thats why i split my lunch shake as didnt wanna be starving at the gym!
Weighed myself this morning and the scales are saying another 1lb off - so in total since i started Weds thats 7lbs off - please god let the scales say the same on Weigh in day on Weds lol.
I also tested for Ketosis this morning and its nil, so how comes that is like that, thought i would be ketosis by now??
Oh and this very moment in time my stomach is rumbling like a goodun, the first time it has done that so far on this diet, but im not gonna have my lunch shake yet as otherwise im sure i wont be able to hold out for my dinner at 5pm

The loss adjuster is coming out from the insurance company on Monday to assess how much money they are going to give me re the burglary
