Dusty - I agree completely. My boys help, and eventually may think about someone other than themselves.

DS1 insisted on cleaning all the brass for me. He thought it was fun, of course if I had asked him to do it it would have been slave labour!

What a day so far... well the good thing is we're back home. :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

I'm to see a solicitior tomorrow at 3 about getting an order thing to stop him coming near the house. :D

The t r a m p actually has been in touch i think it was more to do with my sister heading to her house and telling her family whats been going on and telling t r a m p that she would cut lumps out of her. Her family rang PIL straight away as they know each other so there's been a few heated phone calls.
Boy has that KH told some lies, he say's i beat him up and i'm just awful to him and he's been sleeping on the sofa for months . :rotfl:

She also sent a pm via facebook saying how sorry she was and that nothing happened, i don't believe a word and filled her in on his mental health and funny enough she has bloked him on facebook and on her phone, i know her brother who also called me and i filled him in too. :T

I've also bagged up all of his clothes and there out on the trailer. I have noticed his parents are wondering where he might be as he's not with the t r a m p so i think he is where he went last year. He did go up the lane when i was with his parents and took his bike, he had a taxi waiting at the bottom of the lane. Never came near his parents to find out how his children are, sad excuse of a person.

I've contacted some benefits and need to do up a letter to get things changed which i'll do tonight and post tomorrow. My dads been fab, he hated KH with a passion but always kept the peace for my sake. He's told he'll keep an eye out for a house, i'll stay here for a little while but i will get my own house (PIL have said i can stay here forever if i don't meet someone else but i hate rules and i have a life of my own). Plus Dad said if i needed anything including money just to let him know. :A

Thanks everyone for all your kind words and encouragement, your all fab. :D Believe me it is the end and i'm glad, i never want to see or hear from him again and nor do the children, i've told them everything about mental health, drugs and how he never bought a thing for them just for himself.

If anyone things of anything else i need to do please say because i might have missed something. Plus i'm gonna head down and see my family tonight.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Vanilla very proud of you. You can do this and it is great your family are being supportive.

well done you, sending massive hugs to you and the children. i imagine it will be hard at first and strange for the kids but you will get there.
Can i just say hes still their dad so dont be too quick to criticise him to them they will see the truth for themselves. my parents divorced and used us as tools to hurt each other during their rather bitter and messy split its difficult being a pawn in someone elses battle:(
cant think of any advice of things to do but it looks to me like you have most basis covered

  • JoJo glad you made the right choice, do you have some supplies in for you and the cats?

    [goes to check cupboards]

They have crunchies for ages and enough meat slop until Monday.

I won't starve either, although some of my meals may be a little strange by the middle of next week.

I may expire from boredom/complete absence of human contact however.

I'd be moving near your own family ASAP too.. and good on you for telling them the truth of the matter and I believe the children should know why things are the way they are and why their dad is a KH..

Well done Vanilla. I'm glad you've got lots of support from your family and his.
Are your children still in school this week? Have you told the school that your KH has left?
Do write down what the solicitor says. At a time like this, you will quickly forget the details.
Lots of hugs to you and the kids.

Well done JoJo - glad you're safely home. Strange meals won't hurt you, but lack of human company might. Keep posting on this list. Hugs to you too.

Well done Pigpen - keep him working. Little and often! I was wondering how to engineer a power cut too. Maybe take the fuses out of his X-box plug, then he'll wonder why your WM and TD still work ha-ha!

I'm now going to play Hunt the Buttons for the knitted jacket which I have finished sewing up. Have just started a cardigan for the new DGC expected very soon, but it's white wool so I can't take it with me when I go on a long train journey next week. Bother! However, I've found some other unfinished work - a Miffy alphabet rug: the pattern was in Family Circle magazine xx years ago! - which I can take to do instead: I need to embroider round all the shapes on the squares.

I told you that I sometimes fly s-l-o-w-l-y!
