  • Hey,

Good idea with the spotify I was thinking about paying for it but the free one isn't to bad and you don't really notice the adverts after a while. Definatly better when you get the keep the songs you pay for. I like that I can listen to an album on spotify before buying it incase I don't like it. Greenday have 3 albums out soon that I really want but it's £55 for the boxset!! May have to wait for my birthday not sure I can justify £55.

    Enjoy your free coffee. xxx

£55!! Jesus, may have to take Spotify out for a month to listen to it when it's released. Also Green Day are the only band I am going to buy a ticket for, if they decide to do one this year or early next year.

I went to the gym again today :D I rowed 1k without stopping, a personal best, I'm so unfit lol. Also cycled 4k and was on treadmill as well.

I have a job interview Friday for a studio show, but it's only 8 days between 5th and 25th so not sure whether its worth it, cause I might work on the studio dates for the show I'm on at the minute instead. But worth going to the interview for.

My contract finishes on 24th August, so will need to find a new job after that. But I'm getting 2 of my wisdom teeth out on the 30th under general anaesthetic, so that wont help going straight from one job to another, especially if I need to drive, as I wont be able to for 72 hours afterwards!
  • Good Luck with the interview.

I think the £55 is for a pretty box set and there will probably be a cheaper version. I said excatly the same about Greenday being the only tickets i'd buy. They put on such a good show live and i'm aways worried there going to retire so would kick myself if I missed their last tour. Also Billy Joe is the most beautiful man alive!

Ah don't know about that I prefer Jared Leto hmmm.....

anyway back on track. I worked a bit earlier and later today to make up for my interview tomorrow morning, but the team decided to go to pub after work... so I went with them. Got bought a drink, then I bought the guy who bought my drink a drink. I spent £7.90 in total (my drink and his drink), so not too bad. I've been told that if your team go out for drinks or have work parties then go, as you get to know them, and you'll be more likely invited back for work. So it's not like I had a choice :p

But I probably shouldn't have had a McDonalds though afterwards, but I was hungry having had no dinner...

Interview tomorrow morning, hope I'm going to be ok and get up in plenty of time for a shower, straightening my hair and put make up on.

Interview went well, but not really sure I want the job. I have another potential job lined up, the production I'm working on may need people for a few days in September.

Went to Feeder last night in Hyde Park, spent zero. Also I was right near a mosh pit at the end, so it reminded me of being back at a festival :D

Today I have no plans, NO PLANS! Shock horror! So I've done my chores (we have a rota in our shared house) and now I'm trying to organise the repair of my TV which seems to be conking out, the colours are blurred like I'm watching a low quality stream and there's wobbly lines. It's still in warranty though, so wont cost me anything to get it reparied/replaced.

Wow 4 days since my last post!!

Well today was a moneysaving. I took my own lunch in to work and stayed home watching TV, made a chicken curry using a sauce I bought from Poundstretchers, 89p I think it was, not bad for Sharwoods sauces! Made 3 portions, and froze 2.

Last night I had a frozen home made ready meal or chille con carne and rice. As well as walking 3 miles after work, walked from the Southbank to Camden, and got the tube the rest of the way, instead of paying over £3 for peak zone 1-3, I paid off peak (with young person discount) zone 2-3 for 95p!!

I've got 2 parties on Saturday, my housemate is going out in Camden celebrating his birthday and my friend has a house party in south london. I'm going to try and make an appearance at both. The sound London house party should be fun and I'll probably get wasted, but I don't fancy spending money on a taxi to get back up north, which will probably be about £50 between me and at least 2 others (maybe 4), it was about that last time. Or I could spend a few hours an night buses...

Anyway that's Saturday night, I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow for my wisdom teeth that are being taken out at the end of the month. Which means leaving work early :D
  • Hi

Just realised we've been writing our diarys for over a month now. :T
Thats one month closer to being debt free :j

Hope you have a good weekend at your parties and manage to not splash the cash to much.

    Enjoy

So went hospital yesterday for my pre examination for getting my wisdom teeth out. They took some bloods, checked blood pressure. etc and I filled out forms. So I know what will be coming on the 30th

So I'm going to parties tomorrow. I'm going for a couple of drinks first for my housemate's party (2 for 1 cocktails) so will probably buy 2, then go to Sainsburys to get drink for house party, then head down to South London, get drunk, get food, get night buses back, then bed.

    Sunday - recover lol

Well interesting weekend. I had 5 cocktails in the end... whoops. Then bought some vodka and diet coke for the house party (£6). So didn't spend too much money, I was under my £20 limit.

But I did drink way too much!! I ended up throwing up on the night bus... I spent yesterday recovering, but feel horrible today, not hungover terrible, but I think I have a trapped nerve in my leg, and I'm all achy, so didn't go work today. So today I'm applying for my next job, as my contract finishes this week, even though I might get extended.
