My DSLR is ancient, it's a monster in size. I really want a new one, but obviously can't afford it! Mine's a Canon 10D 6.3mps!!!
I bought it at uni with my student loan as I use to work for a motor racing team as media filming and photographing them for promotional material to send to sponsors. I tend to use my camera for sporting events.

I spent today after work soaking up the Olympic atmosphere in Hyde Park, and watching The Feeling on stage. All for free! Although if you were to buy food it would cost you more than food if you were at Download festival! £6 for a cheeseburger!! I didn't bother getting any food.
Didn't take my camera though.
Feeder was good, except for some annoying guys who kept tapping me in the shoulder and banging into me on purpose, one of them ended up covered in their own beer after repeated ignoring my warnings to stop it!! It was only a bit left in their cup though, shame really... lol. They're lucky they didn't get my elbow in their private places, me being short them being tall, it would have been too easy to do!0 -

I did have a good day, I was extremely tired, still am really! (she says at quarter past 1 in the morning!) I went to watch Team GB in women's football today. I was near centre at the very top of the stadium, 2nd row from back. Only cost 20 quid a ticket, and I didn't buy any food in there or drinks so go me! I did buy lunch at work though, which included a Red Bull, which probably wasn't a great idea, I crashed later on when I got to Wembley!
I accidently used my oyster card on the tube instead of my travelcard that came with my olympic ticket, but I got off 2 zones earlier to get some food for dinner, so didn't cost me as much for either travel or food! At least it was only the 1 journey out of 3 I did today.
I've received my refund back from Seetickets, and I'm refunded the buyer that bought the spare ticket. So trying to keep on top of things, even with my life getting busy!0 -

So today was a very good budget day. Made my own food for work, although I did spend a bit of money on chocolate, so spent about £1 instead of £5 for lunch. I also went shopping and bought more stuff to make lunches with and also snacks. I know I need chocolate around 3:30 or 4pm so I bought 4 packs of cadbury chocolate for £1 - twirl and crunchie

I've just had a freezer meal. Chilli con carne I made a few weeks back. It was very nice to have a home cooked meal, even if it was homecooked weeks back!
I'm actually spending the evening in for once lol. Maybe I'll get a good nights sleep for once this week lol.
I need to pay my rent now, which will take me back into overdraft
But I may be only to pay half of it for now, as it goes into a house account where all the bills come out, and we have some spare money in there. May save me a bit of overdraft interest! 0 -
So had a few slip ups this week. Went shopping with my Laura as she needed a new outfit for going out, and ended up spending money myself! Whoops! New shoes and a new top, as well as new headphones, which I needed as my old ones were dying.
Went to Hyde Park a couple more times, didn't spend money there though so that's good. Also went to a free showing of Super Hi Vision at the BBC - basically HD TV times 16 in quality. They showed the opening ceremony and a couple of events. The sound was amazing, felt like you were there!
And then my brother wanted to take me to the Cape Town Fish Market but I said I was skint, so he offered to pay! (he has a taste card anyway) so free meal for me
I'm skint till payday, do trying my hardest not to spend money if I can help it. I'll be getting more money next pay day so I can use that to reduce my debt by a couple of hundred hopefully!!0 -
So good day today, spent £1.05 in canteen for snack things. Finally went back to the gym this evening! I've been paying for it and not using it, £19.95 a month it costs. Then I went Tesco bought a chicken and cut it up into portions, to save money on buying just chicken fillets. Then I use 1 and a bit of a fillet and some of the scrappy bits left on the chicken in a curry, that'll last 3 meals
Using a curry sauce that was on offer.
So good day today. Also I went Tesco and got bits for lunches, snacks included.0 -

Yeah I've just been busy!
I had a good day today, spent no money at lunch, but I did get an ice cold Costa, but I was incredibly thirsty at the tube station, I would have had to buy any drink anyway. Now I have enough loyalty points for a free ice cold Costa
I've also realised I have £9 worth of Boots loyalty points, got my clubcard points through the post as well £2.50, but I've not long got a clubcard, they're my first rewards! Already used a 50 extra point coupon last shop. Also have almost £7.50 worth of Nectar points. All these little things add up!
I've also got back £24 my housemate owed me too. Plans for tomorrow are going to the gym after work again. If I keep the gym up it will take up my time, which I probably would have spent spending money on food, eating out, going out.etc so £20 a month is worth having. Also I'm going to cancel Spotify, I know I should have done it before, but I love music and use the app on my phone a lot. It's a tenner a month, but I'm thinking using £5 a month to buy some of the songs I want, so I get to own the songs, instead of 'renting' unlimited amounts of songs.
I'm going to be changing my contract in 2 months time or so. I want to get an iphone though, but I need to find a cheap way, so I was thinking of getting the 4s when the 5 is released, so prices will be cheaper. I'm sick of my slow cheap android phone. Current contract is £23 a month, so iPhone will be a bit more, but hopefully it'll be worth it.0
