  • No, not the temperature (that's much lower tonight - Brrrrrr) - I am 3lbs lighter today :j Mr F's trousers are a little looser too so we're doing something right.

    On the MS side:
    • Pitta Pizzas with tuna and pesto for lunch
    • sent Mr F out to buy batteries for the digital camera so I can do some Fleabaying tomorrow
    • Mr F did the pre-MOT checks on the Landies
    • Butternut Squash and Sage Risotto from the meal plan for supper tonight along with a bottle of Avios red.
Might even break open the Sloe Gin in a minute.

    Have a good Saturday night.

Losing weight can sometimes have ....... other side effects ;).

Oops, thought I was on Natty's thread for a minute :D.

  • Mr F and I started looking at holidays last night and almost came to a decision to go and !!!!!! the savings goal! Today, Mr F noticed that the sides of the mech pit in the garage are bulging in. Called in the builder and it looks as though the pit may not have been concreted in properly  So holiday plans on hold until we know where we stand with that. At least it isn't caused by rising water because that would have been worse.

    MS:
    • a cupboard lunch
    • a couple of hours admin work
    • Salmon Teriyaki with Sweet Potato Mash and Peas for supper. Looked like a very small portion on the plate but we are both still full. Just goes to show how much we usually eat and how much we actually need to. Might be the bottle of Avios red that filled us up :o
    • Mr F popped into the market town to get me £20 from the cash point just so I've got something in my purse.
It would've been such a lovely holiday - a spa in St Lucia with a helicopter transfer :( I've never been in a helicopter :(:( Who knows a lottery win may be just around the corner. You've got to have a dream, if you dont' have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true ...

    Sweet dreams

    Me too :D.

 to bulging pit. Sounds like something off Natty's thread, am sure she could sort it out at her lady gym ;).

ETA: re the holiday - at least now you've identified what you're not going to do so that is progress :)
