Welcome back and yes I have missed you!
I've also come to the conclusion that I would rather save for exactly what I want rather than compromise. You have to look at it all the time, and if every time you look at it you're thinking you'd rather have gone with the more expensive option. Then it's a waste of money in my opinion.
(Hence why DH finally 'gave in' and bought me Kitchenaid for Xmas - rather than a cheaper less attractive version:rotfl:)
Quite right Megela. I've decided I will go for the curtains and pay for them with my admin work over the next couple of months.

I had a lovely girlie night out last night. Only spent £5 as I was driving. It was past 12 by the time I got in though and I was sooooo tired when I got up this morning (I get up at 6 to make Mr F breakfast before he goes to work) that I snuck back for a couple of hours after he'd left :rotfl:
So MS after a late start:- missed Step this morning which means I haven't been to the gym all week
Determined to get back in to a routine next week
- a home manicure using the new YSL varnish Mr F got me for Christmas
- a cupboard lunch
- Waitr0$£ delivered. £10.48 under budget. Free leeks and carrots (short use by dates) and free oven chips (for some unknown reason)
- Chorizo Pilaf from the meal plan for supper
Have a good weekend all

Mr F has been out all day today helping with a search and rescue. A local man went missing in the marshes a week ago and all hands are out searching for him. I hope he's found safe and well but it doesn't look positive at this stage. I am counting my blessings today.
MS activity:- baked Cheesey Nibbles and Lemon Biscuits to take to the School Quiz night (we came 2nd :j)
- a 54p Tillytiddy OP'd
- reconciled the bank statements - no surprises
- a cupboard lunch
- an hour or so on admin work
- Easy Oven Frittata from the meal plan for supper tonight (Mr F's is in the oven
). I exchanged the lemon thyme for a tablespoon of pesto as I think it gives it a better flavour
- 3 small items on Fleabay this evening. I'm going to try do a couple of items at a time so I don't lose the will to live.

Lovely to have a visitor Mrs Money Penny and a fellow baker at that. Although I can't lay any claims to greatness on the baking front. I don't bake very often - toooo calorific, so don't get enough practice. I'm going to pop over now and see if you have a diary so I can return the compliment.

Forgot to mention that I did win something at the School Quiz Night. They do an ice breaker called 'Heads and Tails' and I won :j - £10 :j It cost £10 for Mr F and I to enter the quiz and £2 for us both to enter the ice breaker so the evening only cost us £2
MS today:- Step class this morning. I did really well considering I missed last week
- a cupboard lunch
- a little admin work
- Fish Curry from the meal plan for supper tonight
- an NSD
Happy Monday everyone.

I am looking forward to doing the monthly money shuffle on Thursday despite HMRC's recent incompetency. We were sent 6 different tax codes in 3 days, however despite this, the tax code Mr F's employer has been sent doesn't match any we've been informed of  They have been told he is on a 'K' code so his pay packet is £230 down  - feeling your pain NewLeaf.
Today's MS:- went to a meeting for my admin job. This is the busiest time of year so my hours are stacking up nicely. Should be able to pay for my new curtains by the end of March :T
- a cupboard lunch
- a 64p Tillytidy OP'd
- Meatball Stir Fry from the meal plan for supper tonight
The Police are coming tomorrow evening. Mr F has a shotgun licence and they have to come and check that he's keeping the gun safely. Good job I bit the bullet on my hairdressing bill - I wouldn't want to be arrested for the criminal cost of that :rotfl:
Take care all
