I have been very unproductive today. Lots to do but I couldn't find the motivation to get on with it.
So MS or lack of it:- didn't go to Step because it was cold and there was snow on the ground (what a wimp)
- a new tax code arrived for Mr F taking into account the company cars he's had at the new job. Very difficult to work out it whether it's correct or not because it's likely to include overpayments due to them double charging for the car at the old job and accounting for the temporary new car and the permanent new car. I'll just have to wait until he submits his tax return to find out the whole truth! I've calculated his tax payments for the next financial year and it doesn't look as though there'll be a great deal of difference in his pay packet so that's good
- did the budgeting for next month. It's ages until pay day but I just wanted to see whether we'd be able to save anything. I think we will be able to and get the savings back above the pre-Christmas maximum :T
- my new slippers and knickers were delivered so there's no danger of frost bite to the nether regions now :rotfl:
- did the Waitr0£ shop. Used my next £5 voucher and came in £8.56 under budget. I'll wait until the delivery to see what the actual cost is and then OP whatever I've saved
- a cupboard lunch and supper today as Mr F is away with work tonight
Tomorrow's another day

Mr F has just confessed to going out to dinner with his colleagues last night - Chicken Jalfrezi, Spinach, Arabian Rice and Peshwari Naan  Don't know how we're ever going to get his cholesterol down at this rate. At least it was on the company.
Today's MS:- last orthodontist visit today. I had braces taken off about 2 years ago and have been going back every 6 months for a check up. Everything is fine so I don't have to go back now unless I have a problem. That'll save a couple of trips into the Spa Town this year. Had to pick up some cleaning tablets for my night retainer though - £6
- popped into T£$c0 on the way home for some milk. Also picked up some rice crackers for Mr F's lunch box (3 for 2) and a sushi lunch for me as a treat - £6.16
Managed to resist all the cakes and chocolates though - someone round here has to have some will power :rotfl:
- some admin work this afternoon
- Somerset Bean Stew with Cheddar & Parsley Mash from the meal plan for supper. I don't want to cut cheese out of our diet totally but it was very carefully portion controlled. If I'd known about the Indian before supper Mr F's would have been san cheese :rotfl:
Take care

On hold at the moment Lulabelle. Need to have a difficult conversation with the builder about the mech pit. Will pick my moment as he's a friend and I think the problem is down to him. Would so love to go to St Lucia though (just to see that big yellow thing in the sky I vaguely remember, oh that's it - the sun) :rotfl:

Mr F is just back from the gym. He also had a business meeting over lunch today and chose a tuna sandwich. So some amends have been made for the Indian :rotfl:
On the MS front:- attended a meeting for my admin job this morning
- a cupboard lunch
- Waitr0$£ delivered - exactly £10.00 under budget and I sent back a substitution so £1.07 to be refunded. Will OP that
- leftover Somerset Bean Stew with croquette potatos for supper tonight
- more admin work this evening
Have a good night all

Went to one of the local towns today with a couple of girlfriends. However, despite having the means and the motivation, I bought nothing, nil, nada. I'd decided to use some of my personal spends on clothes this month as I'm feeling a little shabby but nothing caught my eye - this is what this site does to you, even when you want to spend you can't!
MS:- I drove so the girls paid for parking
- lunch at Caf£ Roug£ with a 33% discount voucher - £16 each including a bottle of wine (although I only had one very small glass)
- popped into Waitr0$£ on the way home (I like to check it still exists in the real world from time to time). Picked up some bread which I'd forgotten to order and some onions - Waitr0$£ Online please note, red onions are not an appropriate substitution for ordinary onions
- Mushroom Goulash with Tagliatelle for supper from the meal plan tonight. Nearly caused a row between Mr F and I. I like to consider myself a fairly accomplished cook whilst Mr F's culinary expertise extends to soft boiled eggs and mashed potato. I did not, therefore, take kindly to being lectured on how long I'd left the water boiling! Step away from the kitchen Mr F
I'm going to bed in a minute. We've not been going to bed on time this week, and we've been staying awake to read when we do go, and I'm feeling worse the wear for it. Expecting to wake up to a winter wonderland tomorrow.
Stay safe and warm everyone
