Hi Fortune, I really fancy trying the haddock recipe, where's the recipe from please?
To add to the porridge discussions, I have a very scientific approach to making it, one espresso cup of oats to two of milk - 1 min 40 seconds in the microwave and I chuck in raisins or apricots or banana etc. So quick and easy

About a stone ideally. I lost a stone this time last year but really could have done with another 7lbs and I've put on 7lbs over Christmas as well. Not too much but I have an underactive thyroid which makes it a bit harder to lose it and keep it offhttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6623005/happy-days-in-our-golden-years/p1?new=1

Thanks for that Tilly - I will definately be trying porridge in the microwave.
The haddock recipe is really easy:- put the haddock (smoked or unsmoked) in some foil with a small knob of butter (B£n£c0l) on top. I usually lightly grease the foil underneath as well. Season (less salt if smoked). Sprinkle some herbs on if you like. Seal the foil into a parcel and bake in the oven at 175C for 20 minutes
- Heat some greek yoghurt in a pan. Add grainy mustard to taste. Add lemon juice to taste (only needs a littel). Add more herbs if you like
- Serve with mash or rice and vegetables.
Hope you like it.

Sounds gorgeous. Will be making that soonA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

2lbs lighter today :j Hopefully this is the start of a downward trend.
MS today:- went to a very crowded and hot Step class (lots of New Year's resolutions attending now that the kids are back to school). Did well but it's much harder when it's crowded because it increases the temperature and I'm sure there's more competition for oxygen!
- had a coffee afterwards with the girls - £2.25
- a cupboard lunch
- Pasta with a Roasted Tomato and Caper Sauce for supper along with a bottle of red courtesy of Avios.
Hope you all have a snow free weekend.

Will do TYG. Don't quite know how Mr F's cholesterol got this high in the first place as we generally do eat very healthily. I suspect our portion sizes are a bit on the large size and I am very generous with the butter and cheese
