Do you need any onions to go with it
?
I'll take your onions and raise you some ginger (still using up the 1kg I ordered by mistake months ago) :rotfl:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6623005/happy-days-in-our-golden-years/p1?new=1

Mr F went back to work today and I liked it  It was lovely to have the house to myself and be able to get on with things undisturbed. I was even able to watch the Christmas episode of Midsomer Murders whilst doing the ironing this afternoon. What a relief not to have to watch war films, westerns and constant re-runs of Top Gear :rotfl:Does that make me a bad wife?
MS today:- filed some paperwork (yup - Everest still exists if a little diminished)
- called the mortgage company to get this month's balance. We've paid £477 off the capital this month :T All those little OPs definitely make a difference
- reconciled the bank statements - everything added up
- OP'd a 78p Tillytidy
- Christmas leftovers for lunch - cheese and crackers followed by a mince pie with brandy butter :rotfl:
- Waitr0$£ delivered - £13.78 under budget and free rocket (short sell-by date) and kitchen rolls (for some unknown reason)
- Lentil Chilli from the meal plan for supper tonight. Plenty left over to make fajitas tomorrow and a portion for the freezer.
Sleep tight

If you're a bad wife then I'm a bad mum, I pretty much sprang out of bed this morning to get ds2 ready for nursery..... He was up, dressed and ready to go in record time!0

What a great film! Can't wait to see the second half.
Surprisingly (as I bought the tickets earlier this week), today turned out to be an NSD. In other MS news:- Step class this morning. Not as bad as I expected. I got through everything and it was hard, but not any harder than usual
- OP'd a 78p Tillytidy
- a very virtuous tuna salad for lunch :rotfl:
- picked up my friend and her children to drive to the cinema. She bought me a very unvirtuous ice cream
- used up two leftover mini mincepies and some brandy butter when I got home
- fajitas for supper using yesterday's leftover Chilli
- managed to avoid opening a bottle of wine (although Mr F was getting ready to before I reminded him of our agreement).
Happy Friday!

Hi Calfury - oooh is it a trilogy? Not sure whether to be delighted (two more fabulous films to see) or despondent (two more tickets costs to fund) :rotfl:

Fortune - I think it is a trilogy!!
Was dissapointed as at the end of the film I thought Id know the whole story...obviously not! :rotfl:
I could always read the book I spose....
You can exchange clubcard vouchers for cinema tickets which makes them about half the price (think its 3.50 of clubcard vouchers per adult ticket) we tend to do this which makes the cinema feel like a free treat (until you add in popcorn, drinks etc...)0 -
