We had a fabulous time at the Casino night - I won the Poker, the Blackjack and got the high score on Wii Dance 4 (don't ask). We took it easy on the alcohol because Mr F had been invited to go flying today with a friend (no cost
). So I took the opportunity to have a PJ day on the sofa and caught up on some of the Christmas films I'd recorded. MS today:
- used up lots of leftovers for meals today (croissants, cheddar, mushrooms, stilton, mince pies and brandy butter)
- an NSD
- got Mr F to agree to a relatively dry January - alcohol only on social occasions.
I may need to do the weekly on-line shop later - there is a definate dearth of toilet rolls in the house. Might have to pop over to Tillys :rotfl:
Hope you've all had a good start to the year.

Not a bad start to 2013:
- OP'd a 1p Tillytidy yesterday (is that a record?)
- planned meals for the week based around the festive leftovers
- did the weekly online Waitr04£ shop - £11.46 under budget so far but I might get some freebies when they deliver. The plan was to OP any savings on the food budget but I'm going to leave this until the end of the month as we're a bit short of cash in the current account at the moment
- Venison Sausages, Potato & Parsnip Mash and Peas for supper yesterday. The sausages and peas were left over from a meal I cooked for friends on Sunday and the parsnips were from Christmas
- went to Zumba this morning
- Mr F went to the gym at the same time so we could travel together and save fuel
- £5.39 OP'd to the mortgage today - a Tillytidy of 39p and £5 for a $wagbuck$ voucher earnt
- booked to see The Hobbit on Friday with a friend and her children. I'd promised to take them in return for her looking after the chickens last time we went away. I paid £9.99 just before Christmas to join 0d£0n as a member. So with that, and by booking a family ticket, the cost was £26.80 and I have enough points for 2 free tickets next time we go. I really want to see the Life of Pi or Great Expectations so that will be a good no spend treat for Mr F and I during austerity January
- got £25's worth of Waitr0$£ vouchers in the post today :T. This was from their December promotion where you had to shop with them for four weeks to quality. They are for each of the four weeks left in January so £10 off the next shop and £5 off the next three
- Jamie's Pancetta and Parsnip Tagliatelle for supper tonight (using up more leftover parnsips)
- it's been an NSD so far but I'm watching some Cliniqu£ face scrub on Fleabay. I'm nearly out and, if no one bids, it will be a good price.
We have exempted social occasions so are playing by the rules - just weren't expecting a social occasion so soon!
Mr F goes back to work tomorrow so that's the end of the lie-ins. I'm gonna miss them.

Do you need any onions to go with it?
