Mr F slept in until 10.30 am yesterday and would have slept on if I hadn't woken him. He then ate the whole Malt Loaf for breakfast whilst I was in the shower
We went to a local Folk Festival for the day. There were lots of Morris sides and we stood and watched them dancing in the sunshine. We were also entertained by a Folk Singing Group whilst eating a Sunday roast in the pub. Very good value for £25.00 (that will come out of the entertainment budget) and we were so full from a late breakfast and large lunch that we didn't need any supper.
Today I have been to Step, done some more work on the Jag drawing and sorted out paperwork. So a few more things to cross off the list.
Tonight's supper is Veggie Shepherd's Pie with Sweet Potato Mash from the meal plan. I've got some cabbage to use up so will saute that with some caraway seeds to go with the pie.
Such a dull and dreary day today. It felt like Autumn had finally arrived so, to celebrate, Mr F lit the log burner and I ordered an electric blanket!
Hope you're all warm and cosy this evening

I think my mojo may have run off with Tilly's!
I haven't had any motivation at all recently. Mr F is still away and not due home for another week. Plus the weather's been dismal since he leftand I have been procrastinating about everything
I am, however, eating very well. Usually, I drift towards a Bridget Jones meal plan when Mr F is away. But the veg box just keeps coming and, as I can't bear to waste food, it's all being consumed or used to fill the new freezer :A
Today has been a little more productive with some housework and PTFA chores completed. Plus I cooked Cavolo Nero & Potato Bake with Gruyere Sauce for supper tonight which was delicious. I added some Cubetti Pancetta to the mix to make it more of a main course.
I am going out for the day tomorrow with Across-the-Lane-Neighbour just for a mooch around. Then it's a PTFA meeting in the evening. So at least I'll be out of the house.
Maybe it's time to have that splurge on new clothes I've been planning. That will cheer me up. I now have £50 in J0hn L£wi$ vouchers, £25 M&S and £20 H0use of Fra$£r. That should be a good start.
Hope mojos are still in evidence elsewhere

Hello there.
Mr Goldie did jury service 8 or 9 years ago and he really enjoyed it
He was on a big fraud case, and the case lasted about 2 months, but he loved it.
He was at the Maidstone Court, and did the park and ride into the centre.
After expenses were paid, he was slightly in pocket, so it did work out ok.
Glad the new freezer is working out.
I currently get very irritated rummaging in my too small freezer, can't wait to get a decent sized one!Early retired - 18th December 2014

Sorry your mojo went missing, FS - sounds like its peeking its head over the fence at the moment, and I'm sure it'll be back when Mr FS turns up again too :kisses3: uh, so to speak :rotfl:

Hi Goldie
think I'll be doing park and ride too. I did Jury Service once before years ago so I remember they're a bit tight on costs.
Am loving the new freezer - it's making a huge difference in the kitchen.

Mice! In the attic. I've caught 5 in the last week. I have a humane trap but they have now learnt how to escape it. So, I've had to invest in a trap that kills them
It's electronic and is supposed to zap them really quickly so they don't suffer. However the first time I used it I heard lots of banging in the attic, hopefully opened the trap (it has a 'got one' light indicator) only to find an empty box, a wisp of smoke and some charred fragments in the bottom
Mojo is slowing returning. The house is cleaner and I've been out and about a bit.
I've relaxed a bit about spending recently. Not overspending or spending unnecessarily, just not keeping track as carefully. No damage done but I want to keep monitoring things so that I keep my loaves and lilies balance.
Happy weekend all
